This company is terrible to deal with. I will be turning them in to the BBB. The website is impossible to use and we have been unable to talk with an agent.

"Extremely Frustrating"
I just attempted to pay an audit amount for my AP intego insurance policy. The online payment option said "not available for this policy" and when I called the phone number, it said my credit card could not be processed. I then waited for awhile on hold and got a representative who told me you have to press # after typing in your CC # and expiration date, which is never stated when you call their number. This whole process was extremely frustrating and could cause people to not make their payments timely, which could affect their credit score.

"Absolutely disgusting scamming…"
Absolutely disgusting scamming company!! Had caravan insurance with them, had our caravan for just under a year, no leaks, no damp, nothing! Moving it the one day we hit a very large/deep pot hole - thought nothing of it, got home, following week went in our caravan and there was water leaking from the rain causing damp, called Davis group who were our underwriters - who told me I was covered as was fully comp for everything, in my eyes this was accidental damage causing it, they sent an engineer who deemed it "uneconomical repair (2004 caravan) - we was then strung along being told it was going to be repaired - then we had another phone call saying the claim was declined and we wasn't covered as the terms of our policy was that we were liable for any servicing of seals etc - asked for it to be reviewed and made a complaint, to be strung along by Amstrust for months (in this time the damp got worse where the lights stopped working and the fuse box caught fire) to be told their investigation was complete and we wasn't being paid out for it - we are now £5500 out of pocket as we had no choice but to scrap it and Amtrust are no help at all, they do and try anything to get out of paying - from no leaks or anything to hitting a pot hole and it start leaking - second opinion through a friend of a friend is that the pothole would have jigged the van about a bit causing seals to break = accidental damage...... do not insure anything with them at all, sly, corrupt insurance company- STAY AWAY!

Been trying to get ahold of them for months to cash a claim over a failed property construction. Literally, they just ignore you. No answer at all despite of several emails and phone calls.
They are not helpful at all. When asked questions about the documents, they just answer like robots. They are making it very difficult to claim our money. They will Try to make you exhausted of their procedures and requests and give up...

"Worksman Composation! I got burn bad at my job at work."
I got burn bad at my job.Through the whole worksman comp process my claim adjuster has lied and avoided me. I was off work for 3 weeks before i received a single payment.I have a family.When he finally reached out to me he was Very RUDE as if he was doing me a favor.I went through so much pain and suffering.I almost lost my family behind the stress. I now have a permanent scare on my hand.My kids try not to stare at it during dinner time.My grands are scared of my hand.it takes 2to 3 days for my adjuster to respond and he only do it through email!!! Im thinking i need to talk with an attorney.I may need therpy! This company needs to train their employees

Amtrust is disgustingly greedy and operates their business in a repulsive manner. I obtained a business insurance policy from them in 2022, only to be hit with an audit demanding $51,000 in premiums. Despite faithfully paying $500 per month, they insisted I also insure my contractors, even though they are contractors for a reason. My business had no issues, no disputes, and no one filing claims against me. The agency I worked with, Newfront, is equally terrible and conveniently failed to mention the premium audits before I signed the contract. I have disputed the audit, but they refuse to provide a clear explanation for this exorbitant premium. I have involved a lawyer in this matter. This company is utterly atrocious, incapable of effective communication when they demand over $50,000 from me. I will never use them again. Stay as far away as humanly possible.

This company have left me for over 14 weeks without any contact. I have small children and no washing facilities for them. Would never recommend to anyone, worst service I have ever had to deal with.

Should be investigated on many levels - Amtrust were the insurance company who insured thousands, over 15,000 legal cases as a no win, no fee ATE (After the event insurance) - the Solicitors involved in the cases (Pure legal) went into administration, Pure legal took their legal fees through Novitas loans and all cases should have been covered under the insurance premium taken out with Amtrust - Amtrust have refused to pay out on the insurance of all these thousands of cases, leaving all these people with the defendants court fees to pay and a loan in their names. Many of these cases are year's old and people only just finding out that the cases have not been paid out and interest being added to all the costs, leaving some people legally obliged to pay tens of thousands of pounds, allot elderly people. Amtrust are now in a huge legal battle with Novita's and the Indemnity insurance for the closed down solicitors. They did not blink an eye when they carried on taking all the premium payments and continued to do so but refused to pay out based on a small print following of a procedure with them and the solicitors they were working with and the common man they should have been protecting.

"caravan insurance"
I bought caravan insurance through this firm using a third party, and after our Caravan was stolen 9 weeks ago we are still waiting to hear anything from them, not one phone call or email with an update on our claim, we are totally in the dark and have now cancelled 3 trips away due to the lack of communication, it is now affecting our mental health and the worry and anxiety is starting to be a problem.
I have never had a worse service in my life.....very poor

Yes very easy to buy insurance from them when they are taking you're money but try making a claim and they don't want to know....avoid like the plague.
