Scam scum company that should not be in business - will take your money, double charge you, then audit with additional charges sending to a collections company. Never would recommend this company. Use other options

They refused to send an itemized bill to my fiancé… after they double charged him.

100% theft. Do not use!!! They will take your payment multiple times and then ignore you when you ask for a receipt.

Avoid this company! I made a simple insurance claim for storm damage over three months ago, and they have still not even processed the paperwork. Every time I ring they say they have a backlog of claims to get through and that they will prioritise my claim - this is to fob me off, because nothing ever happens. The original water damage has now worsened because of their unwillingness to deal with my claim. I am frustrated and angry, and will have to make a complaint to the financial ombudsman as a last resort.

I have just had a reply from Am Trust to a complaint I made in December, about the service I received from them.
It was a complete waste of time, however I didn't expect anything less, so I wasn't disappointed.
But you will be if you ever need them.

LIKE OTHERS, I HAVE PAID THIS COMPANY FOR YEARS BUT TRY TO CLAIM, AND FIND OUT YOU MAY AS WELL THROWN THE PREMIUMS IN THE THAMES. AMTRUST WILL DO ANYTHING TO REPUDIATE YOUR CLAIM.
THEY BREAK EVERY FCA REQUIREMENT TAKING WEEKS TO WHAT THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO IN 24/48 HOURS.
THEY TELL YOU NO COVER THEN YOU CHECK AND THERE IS.
FCA REMOVE THEIR LICENCE.

Had them for Workers Comp coverage. Ten years, had zero claims. Then they demanded an audit of my company. Provided information requested, only to have them come back and ask for ten times more info. Did not have the time or energy to accommodate them since I had ZERO CLAIMS. Got a new quote and dropped them. SO they sent me to collections for the un-done audit. Keep in mind, we never filed a claim, ever. But they are still harassing me for money despite the fact the fact they not longer provide coverage.

I AM heb1959yahoo ----see my worker compensation case on line -- florida ojcc case # 21-004240IF. see my filings accusing their in house attorney == peta-gay edwards and attorney michelle chase of RTRlaw -- of an organisied scheme to commit fraud with documents submitted to JUDGE ILIANA FORTE ,,,,, the judge has dismisserd all of my correspondence -- and refuses to forward this fraud to an investigator .. why ??? forte spent 90 % of her carrer prior to being a judge = in the representatiom of insurance companys -- than because she wanted to be a judge she had to than go work for a law office that represents injured claiments ,,,, the judge still represents the insurance companys as a judge ------ as she has in her possession documents submitted by michelle chase & peta gay edwards and she refuses to forward thoes documents to aqn investigator ..... follow the $$$$$$$$$$$$$ my doctor lied in his medical records to steal $$$$ from amtrust -- and amtrust does not care ?? why because amtrust saved $$$$ overall....

"I carried a workers comp policy with…"

I carried a workers comp policy with this company. After 3 years with them and never making any claims, Amtrust decided I owed them $14,000.00. Huge amount of money for my little business. Even after providing documentation and presenting our State's insurance laws they refused to back off and insisted I owed them this money. They threatened, harassed and bullied me. I finally had to get an attorney. After weeks of fighting with this unscrupulous company, their own attorneys realized they had no grounds for trying to coerce this money from me and it was eventually dropped. Though not until I had spent money on my own attorney and invested hours and hours of time. Run from this awful and deceitful company. If you do business with them, it will be a major regret!!!
We are filing complaints with state insurance commissions....they need regulated.
