"No Warranty at All!"

Bought an Abba 12 x 20 canopy by Abba through Amazon. It lasted 8 months and blew apart in the wind. Contacted customer "service." They wouldn't back their product. The told me to contact Amazon, though they likely know that Amazon warrants sales for a month. I wouldn't recommend Abba to anyone under any circumstances

My son bought the carport last year. The top got damaged from the wind because it wasn't anchored properly and rolled a few times. I tried to cover it with tarps but that only lasted a short while. I called Abba customer service (Ruth) and explained my situation. Within a week I had the top replaced and it was a perfect fit. The Abba team made it happen with their fast and friendly service.

The customer service team was very responsive and initially helpful. Unfortunately, once we identified the parts I required, and I placed the order online, the system did not recognize the discount code I was provided. Again, the customer service team came through and refunded the amount I should have been discounted. When the initial shipment arrived, I mistakenly assumed all was in the 2 boxes. I was surprised and disappointed to learn each box contained only 1 piece. The shipping information and link showed full delivery. Customer service then informed me there are 5 boxes in the order and to let them know when I got the last three. The final one arrived well over a week after the first 2. The shipment tracking system needs help. Customer service was great!

"I am not happy with this product…"

I am not happy with this product quality and customer service.

I purchased and set up this shelter less than 2 years ago. About a month ago I noticed the cover had worn through along the rear roofline.
When I contacted customer service to file a complaint, I was basically blown off and offered a 10% discount on a replacement.
I had no choice but to purchase a replacement.

This company’s to a poor product is infuriating to say the least.

"Disappointed in my new carport canopy"

The people at abbapatio were very helpful and I appreciated the quick reply as well as the link to order, however after I recieved my replacement heavy duty 10x20 carport cover I was very disappointed in the product(which doesnt seem to large enough to fit my original metal framework). We have had to make lots of adjustments. I bought from the original mfgr to get the best fit and quality.

"Can't get replacement canopy from them"

My purchase was a 9x7 cantilever umbrella.

Product support from this company is poor, they do not stock spare parts or components. They claim to have a business located in Michigan, which looks like nothing more than a rented address in an office building.

If your canopy needs to be replaced for wear or damage, and it will, good luck getting a replacement - I have been trying multiple times since last year to get one from them as the general aftermarket canopies will not fit.

They could not say if or when the canopy might become available. They continue to use old, lame (pandemic?) excuses about material and shipping availability (its certainly not their fault!). They do not take ownership for the customer need, they put it back on you to check again later. I could not even place an order to be filled if/when it does becomes available. I wanted to BUY it, and they wouldn't help me.
Abba appears to only be an importer of foreign-made products, with no effort or structure to support the customer once the original sale is made. They want you to accept politeness as a substitute for real customer support.
If you buy from this company you risk not getting the full value from your purchase. An umbrella without a canopy doesn't really do much...
Generally, I will acknowledge that the umbrella mechanism is fairly well made, although the canopy is a bit thin and will NEED to be replaced within a few years. And that's where your problem will start.
