Was an easy site to navigate especially on something as important as my wedding album. It gave me the choice to choose the order of my photos and it what size and how many pages I would like and the style of book. The finish product is amazing. The book quality is so good and the pictures have come out so high quality on such thick paper. Definitely a coffee table book! I showed everyone at my work and they was all asking where I got it from. Someone else at my work who is due to get married is thinking of getting her album from MILK books now after seeing mine :)

The process to choose and create the photo album was simple and straightforward. There were several options and I feel I received a premium product in the end.

What I would suggest is that there’s an option to add a title to the spine of the album or album cover when making a large professional album, and also the option to resize photos easily. That way we are getting the most out of the service. The photo album maker has tips and advice when editing and it also allows you to download a pdf draft when you’ve finished editing - so you know what you’re receiving and there’s little room for errors or any nasty surprises.

When I received my album, the delivery process didn’t take very long despite it being shipped from HK. The album and box were very weighty and it felt like a special moment for my husband I when we opened the package together. It was all well packaged and came in immaculate condition. We chose the large leather portrait album with 64 pages and a box. The quality of the pages and album are amazing and you are truly getting your moneys worth. I’d definitely suggest buying a MILK book as a keepsake if you’re after a luxury album.

Overall I found the experience to be quite enjoyable. The online platform you use to build your album/book is very user friendly. There are heaps of preset layouts to choose from which saves quite a bit of time. It is a very luxury purchase but the quality is very good. Luckily I had a voucher and was able to take advantage of a promotion at the time of ordering but without out that I would have been out of pocket close to $800. One thing that kind of annoyed me was that I had to pay an extra $150 for a box for my book. I would think that when you spend over a certain threshold they would be generous enough to include a complimentary box? I ended up not getting the box because I just saw it as wasted money but it would be nice to receive it as part of my order. Overall a great product and service and I am glad I have a something to cherish for many years to come and would generally recommend to friends and family who are looking for a similar service with a higher budget.

Drop-shipped from Hong Kong. Deceptive website suggests it's all NZ based. Extortionate shipping/customs fees. Only store I've ever bought from where I've had to pay such a high fee for customs/import duties separately. Goods from China, Hong Kong, or non-trade-agreement countries often get taxed more heavily - don't waste your money!!!!
