"A nice gift"

This is an okay gift. I wish the site was clearer that is has actually absolutely no official value. You purchase a name in a database. Makes you feel good... but doesn't mean anything. There could be 1000s of sites of that kind, and a given same star would have 1000s of given names. They don't talk to each other.

2 things could make this better though:
• on the app, you are supposed to look for the app you purchased a name for ...by its ID. Makes no sense: what's the purpose of the name I paid for, then??! I now know it's not official ...but it's not even used by the app itself? Incredible :(
• the app is not location aware. Star gazing app have been around for more than a decade. You point at the sky, it tells you what the name of the stars *you see* is. This one doesn't. It makes no use of the device's compass: you do the swiping and figure out what you're looking at. Which is a bit underwhelming.
