"First off..I want to love my Xootr"

First off... love the look of the scooter. I have the Roma. Love the thinner deck and all metal construction. And overall the scooter performs well. The service from customer support is great. They really have your back. So why am I riding a razor A6?
The issues I have with this scooter are as follows. The handlebars. They are too weak and tend to bend just enough to not guide back into the handle bar shaft. Razor is much better on this. The mechanism that secured the handlebars in the handle bar shaft is pretty but flawed. The screws keep coming loose through regular riding vibration. And if you over tighten you strip out the threads in the shaft. Xootr stepped up here and gave me a new shaft. Razors mechanism is simpler and hasn’t given me any issues. The knob they put on the handlebars to keep the bars aligned with the wheel broke and I had to find a screw which also needs to be tightened regularly. Never a problem with the Razor. The bearings on the Xootr are complicated to install and I’ve ruined a few installing them. Plus I can only get them from xootr. Razor takes regular skateboard bearings that don’t require a c clip to remove and replace. An I can get them from almost anywhere. I want to love this scooter. But I can abuse this A6 Razor and it just takes it. Sorry Xootr. I want to love this scooter. I just don’t need things to be more difficult than they need to be.

Xooter was quick and professional in their delivery of my scooter, and my scooter has been awesome! It is well made and has held up through many miles of riding.

"Wonderful way to get around"

Well made, easy to learn to ride, great for travel, great exercise. Take it on the train, etc. great way to get around large cities. These things are bombproof. Fits nicely in bottom of shopping cart. I am 75 years old with a balance problem and this thing is still easier to use than walking. Give it a slight downgrade and it will seem to coast forever. Folds quickly. Very light and compact. Only wish they were available with a kickstand for those times when space is limited and you just need a few moments to do something with no place to lean against. Well worth every penny.

My Xootr has been a mainstay in my commute for years: I ride it 2 miles to work and back, every day that it isn't raining or snowing. I have logged hundreds of miles on this thing, and I look forward to hundreds more. It's a great ride on so many levels - it's fun, it's elegant, it gets me moving after a day at the office, and it rides like a dream. I bought one for my son when he was in high school, and he won't be parted from it even now as a senior in college.

It’s such a pleasure to deal with this company. They have great products. We own three of their scooters and two of their folding bikes. They are excellent and a pleasure to use. Their customer service is great, Steve is the best and so accommodating. Great company.

"As far as kick scooters go"

As far as kick scooters go, this is a fine one, well made, sturdy, quiet, great coasting range. One disadvantage is no good way to store or park it. I wish the company made a stand so that you could store it folded but upright. The reason I don't ride it much is because, with no cushioning, every bump in the road is a jolt straight to my spine.

My Xootr MG is a solid, smooth to ride scooter. I purchased most of the available accesories to use them when needed. I enjoy the cardio workout i get with my scooter. One of the best features is tall people like myself (6'3") are comfy when using a Xootr.

"I LOVE MY XOOTR"

The Xootr MG was my first adult kickscooter. I also own a Micro Suspension kickscooter. While the Micro is well built, it is a bit heavier. I favor the Xootr because it's lighter and is a bit faster. I'll say, truthfully, that I grew tired of the wide, noisy magnesium deck. So I fashioned my own lighter, narrower and quieter deck made from a birch ply used for making residential kitchen cabinets. This took my xootr to a new level and I find it even more enjoyable to ride. I'm 69 and I dig riding a kickscooter.
