Free Post&Packaging delivered quickly in recyclable packing,gets me organised thinking of occasions coming up and all the cards are stunning, working out at £1 each when they match £3.50 cards in retailers. Fantastic company. It is also a highlight of my trips to Cornwall to visit a couple of the Whistlefish shops

Beautiful cards and notelet tins. Very speedy delivery. I've also visited one of their stores in Devon and that was delightful. I'm confused by the bad reviews.

"Shocking "

Shocking service I made a mistake and did not realise they took so long for dispatch for an off the shelf item. I emailed them straight away it took them two days to respond with a very vague answer. Emailed again took a day to respond and I could not upgrade my postage even though it had not been dispatched . So I placed another order with next day delivery and asked them to cancel the order . The next day did not arrive next day took 2 days. At the same time the cancelled order was dispatched the day after I asked for it to be cancelled. So both have arrived together today. Then I get an email two days after I asked for the order to be cancelled "I am sorry your order has all ready been dispatched " Honestly you could not write the incompetence of this company I would not touch them with a barge pole . Wish I had read their feedback

"Dreadful delivery service"

Dreadful delivery service, had to buy extra cards elsewhere to meet birthdays I would have missed. Customer Service could not care less, such a shame as the cards were lovely but their delivery service and customer service is shocking, avoid at all costs.

"Beautiful cards and wraps which are…"

Beautiful cards and wraps which are very good value. I was a little worried after reading some of these reviews, but I ordered 11 cards, 4 wrapping papers and 2 bags on a Saturday and my order was delivered on Thursday which I don’t think is bad at all. All my items were there and carefully packaged. I would definitely use Whistlefish again.

"Faulty shopping bag, appalling customer service. "

Faulty shopping bag
I am shocked by your response to this issue. I was disappointed to find that the sustainability of your shopping bags has not met the quality I had come to expect. As a loyal customer who owns four of your other bags, all of which have been used regularly for shopping and have lasted much longer, this issue has been particularly disappointing.

The faulty strap on this bag has rendered it nearly unusable, and I am concerned that when it eventually comes apart, the bag will only be fit for storage or disposal. This not only undermines the product’s sustainability but also its practicality. Given this, I am surprised that you expect customers to return faulty products at their own cost, which I feel is unreasonable under the circumstances.

I strongly encourage you to review your supplier or manufacturing process to ensure your products maintain the high standards your customers have come to expect. Considering the number of negative reviews your company has already received, I am surprised you are willing to risk further dissatisfaction and damage to your reputation by not addressing these issues more effectively.

In light of this experience, I will no longer recommend your store or purchase from you again.

"Do not meet delivery times and don't care!"

I had an issue with deliveries from this company last year and wish I hadn't made the mistake of ordering from them again. I was ordering specific cards for specific events that would not be relevant after those dates, so checked the latest delivery date (guaranteed delivery within 5 working days), which was fine. When I received no notification of despatch I emailed saying I needed the cards to be delivered on time, but the response was generic saying they were busy! I then phoned speaking to Amy who was at best unhelpful, but I would actually say dismissive and patronising. It was clear she really didn't care about my order or the problems it's delay would cause with not only having no cards for the events, but also being left with cards that were useless to me once they arrived! After much persuading she gave me an email address of someone more senior, who never even had the courtesy to reply. The cards arrived several days later with no apology. So, wasted postage costs and several cards of no use to me, plus the stress of having to try and buy cards on the day. But worst of all was the arrogant and uncaring attitude of the staff - they don't give a damn.

"Still waiting after a week"

I ordered Christmas cards a week ago today and they have still not arrived despite paying £3.75 postage.
On the same day I ordered items from 2 different retailers and paid no postage, one arrived the next day and the other the day after.
I really wish I had read some of the comments before ordering.

Dreadfully slow to dispatch orders. Why does it take at least three business days to dispatch items in stock?

Poor service.

"ASTONISHINGLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE"

I took delivery of 30+ cards and was dissapointed with some of them as the colour of the print was much darker than the picture on the website. I rang to explain that they were not represented accurately on line and looked different in real life. The assistant told me I could return them and get a refund but I had to pay the postage which I declined to do as I consider this product to be mis represented on line. She had no appreciation for my point of view, just kept repeating 'policy' and even interrupted me on several occasions which I thought was rude. having been a customer of this company for many years, I must say I was very dissapointed and would think twice about ordering again.
