"Much too long from order to receiving…"

Much too long from order to receiving goods. I’ve bought from Craddocks for 35 years. Recently their order/delivery times have got very poor and the shipping you pay is not reflected in the service you receive.

good prices will get most products needed for old Land Rovers. the only gripe is that 24 hrs delivery is a week, 3-4 day delivery is 2 weeks.
Come on JC great products but sort out your dispatch department,
Up date your on line ordering so that we know what's happening.
Great knowledgeable sales team that have taken parts through to dispatch office on payment, still doesn't quicken up the process. Come on JC save me buying from your competitors.

"ordered on line paid straight away"

ordered on line paid straight away, heard nothing for 10 days, i contacted them to be told they had to be ordered from supplier, took another 7 days to arrive, ok this happens! but part was not what i ordered, cheap nasty inferior product, so what did they say!! the part number and photo of the GENUINE ARTICLE ON THE WEB SITE ARE FOR REFERENCE ONLY, AND ITS PERFECTLY LEGAL TO DO SO. so be very careful what you order do not go by part numbers or photos of the genuine products they use as thats not what you will get.........BUT THATS FINE AS ITS PERFECTLY LEGAL!!!!!!!!!!!

"Five star service"

Visited John Craddock today for the first time, and we had the very best service - all staff happy to spend time answering questions, and our experience was 5 star. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We will certainly be using them again.

"Sending wrong parts overseas"

Sending wrong parts overseas, not interested to find a solution afterwards.
It was too expensive to send the article back at our cost.
If they make a mistake they are EXTREMELY UNHELPFUL the response emails were completely idiotic off topic talking about non relevant part numbers.
DO NOT ORDER FROM OVERSEAS

"Rude and not interested"

Against my better judgment I placed a ordered with John craddock online. Made payment got confirmation of order etc. 3 days later I receive a email to let me know that my order was ready to be dispached. There site cleary state all ordered before 1pm with be dispatched the same day as I placed order at 8am I just assumed it would be dispatched not informed 3 days later it's ready to dispatch. Not only did they do this they had the cheek to send me another email notifying me that due to size of a part i ordered I will need to pay an additional 7£ postage after already paying 7£. When I called to enquire I was told it is what it is due to the length of the part. The order was cancled due to there ignorance and I will never shop there again . Save your self money and hassle and use paddock

"Poor at best"

I do not often review a company but when my experience is as bad as it was with John Craddocks I felt obligated. After ordering online I received an email a few days later informing me that they do not actually have the item in stock and have ordered it from their supplier. Almost one month later I get another email informing me that the item has increased in price and is now almost £14 more (a price increase of over 200%). Despite having purchased the product at the lower price (and the payment taken from my account) I was now expected to pay this. I then find out after talking to the manager that it isn't even the product i ordered that they were going to charge me the extra for! I have now had to wait a month for nothing. Never again will I order from this company.

"So disorganised"

We live fairly locally and have been to the shop a couple of times. At the shop they are impressively slow and unhelpful. We resorted to shopping online as googling our questions was more effective than visiting their "experts" in store.
We ordered a new radiator which arrived relatively promptly. However it had completely the wrong attachments and their initial suggestion was to try to attach it anyway... We pushed back, and they took 3 days "searching the warehouse" to see if they could find an adapter. We rang them persistently as we had radio silence during this time.
Finally, we heard back that the part was being recalled by Land Rover due to it having the wrong fixings, and they offered a new one... In 6-8 weeks time.
We returned the duff radiator and gave up waiting, went to another supplier who had the right part in stock!

"Worst service and attitude"

I recently tried to purchase some items for my wifes' land rover defender and really wanted to buy from John Craddock as he's fairly close to me (35 minutes drive) I wanted to buy a mantec wheel carrier, an a bar plus some other items. I did my research on line and found the items were a little more expensive but I thought as I was buying a lot they'll probably match it or at least knock a bit off. MISTAKE, never think that John Craddock cares about customers, or giving good prices. They basically told me that the prices were set by the manufacturer and they couldn't discount it or Mantec wouldn't supply them (that's illegal price fixing). I left and bought all the product from flat dog uk, got delivered next day and saved £90
