I had an absolutely horrendous experience with 3Smoney. Their service is a complete waste of time, characterized by very slow processes and a compliance team that is not only painful to deal with but also seems utterly unfamiliar with business operations. Their compliance team, based in Latvia, clearly lacks the necessary expertise on how big businesses operate and manage the cash-flows between subsidiaries and sister companies.

I spent a considerable amount of time with their CEO and compliance officer, explaining our business operations and providing ample proof through invoices, contracts with clients, and more. Despite this, they continually demonstrated that they are not designed for handling big accounts—barely able to manage a few thousand in turnover per month for other clients if that.

One of the most infuriating issues is that they block accounts without any notice to the customer. This happened to me twice. The first time, I had to escalate the problem to their CEO to get it resolved. A few months later, the same issue occurred.

In one instance, I even spent significant time educating them on what a big company with lot of clients operates and was and how it applied to our business, which was bafflingly outside their understanding despite being a financial institution.

Last month, after another fruitless meeting with their compliance officer—who appeared completely indifferent to our presentations of invoices and contracts—I decided to close my accounts. They were visibly upset by this decision, and it took them a staggering four weeks to transfer my money to my other business accounts. In addition I still have a missing payment I just asked them the proof of the recall request, they have never done it , I still have more than 5k euros out there with an angry supplier 😞

To get anything done, you have to call dozens of times a day. The account managers are powerless to resolve issues unless they are purely technical.

To add to the irony, I had invested in this neobank (easily verifiable through my investment holding in Switzerland) with the promise of getting white labeling services for a neobank I intended to start. They convinced me to invest, but never followed through even if I did make plenty of reminders and proposals. They lure you in by inviting you to events and similar engagements, but it’s not eve worth it. Very cheap 😓😓😓😓
They are just liars.
I really prefer to lose my investment and see them out of the market rather than seeing other people experiencing the same problems I had with them.
In addition never pay for opening account fees they are not worth it.
The only positive thing I had was a nice account manager (Joe), he was trying to help. However, the poor guy had no information and no clue about what’s was going on.
Avoid 3Smoney at all costs. Mainly for companies in europe and UK, we have plenty of offers and neobanks out here.
There are plenty of neobanks that can handle any size of business just not 3Smoney.
Their ineptitude, lack of professionalism, and dishonesty are beyond frustrating.

please do not pay a penny to open a bank account with them because is just a way for them to make money.
I'm pretty sure I forgot a lot of bad things that happened to me with them since there are plenty of them......
