I have used the older version and was delighted when upgraded version became available. Have used it on several cats to find them hiding in the house or out in the neighborhood. Am very pleased with this product.

“Mytabcat” is a trading name run by LOC8TOR LIMITED. This company is majority owned by Anthony Warren RICHARDS (Director).
I purchased a Loc8tor “Tabcat” for a price of paid £95.98., delivered to me on Monday 12th October 2022. Unfortunately, it had a faulty "Tag" which I returned on 17th October 2022 and requested a replacement. I have had no response to my complaint including my email to Mr. Anthony Warren RICHARDS.
My experience is that the real effective range in a suburban environment is no more than 50 meters. The range may extend to 182 meters if your cat is “lost” in the middle of a cricket field.
I know that the construction of the “Tag” delivered to me was very flimsy. Following instructions from “Mytabcat,” I opened the faulty tag and it fell to bits. I cannot see it could be possible to replace the batteries because the tag is so poorly constructed. Where is their QUALITY CONTROL?
My recommendation is to avoid this company because they have dubious service & product.

1. All of my emails were acknowledged by you.
2. I am pleased you accept your service was poor.
3. The faulty tag was returned to you on 16/09/2022.
I have a certificate of posting. It did fall to bits.
4. I never received a replacement tag nor an acknowledgment of my returned faulty tag.
If you wish to amend your mistakes kindly send me an email.

"Horrendous customer service and product not fit for purpose"
Following information on the loc8tor website I bought the loc8tor tabs for my cats . These have been a total waste of time as the rubber ring surrounding the tab keeps coming off , meaning the tab comes apart and the batteries come out . We have had to glue the remaining tab together , which means when the battery runs out the unit is useless. It does not matter whether you use this for a cat , or on your keys as it still is not fit for purpose. I have been emailing loc8tor customer service and they have been so rude . They have challenged me to prove it said on their website that it could be used in cats and I sent them screenshots of their own website . I have copied their own FAQ saying it can used on cats without the protective case .I have only used them for just over a year and they will not honour the warranty or guarantee on the product . As an insult they have offered me a 20% discount off the new tabcat system . I have insisted they either refund me my money, or they send me new tabcat , which I have offered to pay the difference on . I cannot believe they are saying they will update the website to say it cant be used on pets , but that does not help me . I have forwarded my email to Trading Standards and the CAB under the Consumer Protection act, as I have not had an adequate response. Do not buy this product.

"Tags & finder remote stopped working…"
Tags & finder remote stopped working after less than 12 months. Website states 2 years manufacturers warranty. Returns form available on website but it states to email or phone first, prior to returning the product for replacement. I have had no response to several emails and the phone number diverts to a vodafone voicemail which is never picked up. Absolute waste of a lot of money.

"Delivery timescale to Europe unacceptable & no automated Online Transaction received"
On 5th Feb 2020 I ordered a TabCat Pack from Loc8tor UK.
This was ordered through their UK Website & paid via PayPal.
Confirmation of payment was received immediately from PayPal UK but NO automated confirmation was received from Loc8tor UK.
After calling Loc8tor UK, I spoke to Sylvia, who eventually traced my order. I was advised that it would take 10 to 15 days delivery between UK & Spain.
This is totally unacceptable ….. had I known this in advance then I would have opted for a faster delivery.
After 20 years in Spain, the average timescale for surface mail between Scotland & Spain is between 4 to 6 days in average !
If & when this TabCat Item arrives, I will be submitting another review on it´s performance ….

"C'est un système extraordinaire"
C'est un système extraordinaire, mais les anciens modèles étaient bien plus adaptés et pratiques pour les chats, que les nouveaux modèles,qui malheureusement ,ne se trouvent plus ,sinon, je l'utilse sur mes 4 chats depuis pratiquement 10 ans et je n'ai que des points positifs sur cette articles!
