But I can't help to emphasise the quality of the customer support during my time with The Fitness Group.
Pam and Mel in particular have been amazing at attending to my needs and questions. Facilitating my process while studying.

"Day 1"

Richard was very welcoming and put the group at ease very well. Outside of his control but the lack of projector made it a little hard to follow along with the more technical aspects, but Richard did a great job explaining concepts despite this. Good group participation to create energy in the group. Appreciated the practical learning and the feedback on movements

The PT/teacher was very good and helpful, could have had a projector or skeleteton to help with the anatomy side of things.

Great first day with Rich, had a lot of fun and great environment to learn. He made everyone feel involved and comfortable , looking forward to the rest of the course

"Tutor & the whole Team"

My tutor/assessor Alasdair has been very supportive throughout, even offering to give me a call to talk over things - a little easier than via email for the particular problem. Whilst email replies did take a few days (and occasionally needed a follow-up from myself) and some questions go unanswered, I can't fault the kindness and encouragement Alasdair does give.

Beyond this, Mel and Pam (in the office) have been so kind, helpful, supportive, understanding and encouraging throughout. I had a few little hick-ups along the way, to which nothing but reassurance and solutions were found, not once making me feel foolish, weak or... anything else! They have both been so genuine with their kindness - having spoken with Pam on the phone too! - and their willingness to help is second to none. Thank You, it truly does mean a lot to me.

Upon signing up, I had a few little problems, to which it was reasoned through and sorted out, all with keeping me at the forefront of the decisions.

The whole team just reinforces my long-term thought and experience that the Scottish are truly wonderful people!

Yes, there are things that could be better - all my questions answered, the coursework requirements being more clear, cohesiveness between different aspects of the course, simpler ways to send through work... - BUT, the course overall, the fact I can do my practice assessments in my local gym, and the team of people at The Fitness Group (speaking of the ones I have spoken to, but I'm sure everyone is lovely), does make up for the aforementioned niggles.

Having now passed my L2 Gym Instructor Course (well, I'm just waiting on the 2nd mandatory review) I will be going forward to do my L3 with The Fitness Group too... and more than likely other courses beyond that too!

"I haven't had the best start with The…"

I haven't had the best start with The Fitness Group. I am doing my Level 2 PT course and my first tutor was too busy for a month to check my work which really put me off the course, however the company showed professionalism in solving the problem which I really appreciated. I got a new tutor, Charlie, who is the complete opposite of the first one. Professional, always helpful. It's a pleasure to work with her. Constructive feedback and clear instructions. That's what you expect from a tutor. Thanks Charlie for the good work you do, keep it up

"5 star initiall customer service "

Mel made the process super easy for me to join up everything was laid on a plate for me and made crystal clear. I had a few questions and to my surprise i found that the answer was in my inbox within 30 minutes. The customer service could not have been any better and it has actually changed my emotions of nerves starting a new career to excitement and anticipation. I am looking forward to starting now and hope Mel will be on hand throughout the course of I need her!
