"Top Notch Whale and Puffin tour company!"

I purchased the combo tour which included a three hour whale watching tour and a one hour puffin watching tour. The tours were fantastic. The guide gave us very interesting information about the whale species we were seeing and about the puffins in Iceland. We saw so many white beaked dolphins, minke whales and so many adorable puffins. Elding goes out of the way to make sure their guests leave satisfied. They even provide us with their awesome photographs! How can you beat that? Their prices are reasonable and they communicate professionally by emailing and phoning if an event has to be cancelled due to bad weather. I would 💯 take their tours again. They are the best whale and puffin watching tour in Reykjavik! They have a wonderful souvenir store, too, on their boat. You get 15% off if you show them the card they give you.

"The crew was incredible"

The crew was incredible, the boat was steady and large. They told us to watch the birds circulate and dive, that's how we would find the whales. We saw at least 6-8 humpback whales all feeding as well as a pod of 3 white-beaked dolphins and another 3 minke whales. Two of the humpbacks particularly caught our attention. One breached twice! Then another one would keep rolling and bring a pectoral fin out of the water. This happened at least 5 times. It was very cool. And when it was over the crew emailed us photos!!!!

Excellent and successful whale watching cruise. Good commentary and the crew appeared respectful of the wildlife. Providing copies of the photographs the crew took was appreciated

"So many marine mammals seen"

We saw a lot of whales and dolphins and guide was extremely informative. It was cold so the overalls provided on board were really helpful.
In case you don't get great photos yourself the photos taken by the crew on board are easy to get from the company and tend to be better.

Das Wetter hat mitgespielt und wir haben einen Wal und Delphine gesehen. Das man nicht immer was sieht ist klar und dass es einer Suche gleicht und die Wale eben nur vom Rücken und der Flosse gesehen werden können sollte man berücksichtigen. Ansonsten hatten wir einen guten Service und auch einen guten Guide. Da die Tour auf Englisch ist, sollte man dies können.

Well run tour, super knowledgeable Marine Biologist talks throughout the journey. Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. We even actually got to see some Humpbacks ! (not guaranteed on every trip out of course)

"Once in a life time"

The marine biologist who was our guide on the morning trip of 7th of September was astonished to see four humpback whales doing all kind of thing: multiple fluke dives, multiple fin slapping, breaches, tail slapping etc. She had never seen that before. It was too much. We had the time of our life.

"Great way to throw it 300€ away for nothing"

This is a total FRAUD. We have spent 300€ (two people) for both whale watching and northern lights and we have seen barely anything on the first trip and absolutely NOTHING in the second. They have the cold blood to give you a ticket for another day which 99% of people will never redeem. They know perfectly they will be no Northern Lights that day (apparently they are specialist?) so I guess the ethical thing would be to cancel the tour and give us the money back. But it’s not about ethics, it’s about business. We have seen nothing, spent tons of money and wasted precious time on this beautiful island. I would strongly recommend you go spend the 44.000ISK somewhere else. Unethical cheaters. Great business for sure. Disgusting exploitation of tourists. Will stop here but if you can avoid being cheated on, please do.
