EGYPT! WOW, what an experience.
On The Go Tours were beyond amazing, I would highly recommend and would book through them again. We were looked after at every point in the trip. There were no issues and we felt safe the entire time. We had a representative with us at all times from right when we landed (even before customs and picking up our bags in Cairo), at every stop of the tour, assisting us with the internal flights, and our Tour guide Helal was fantastic. Helal was full of knowledge, answered all questions, provided facts, very friendly and gave us tips on travelling in Egypt. Our small tour group of 8 was so much fun. The option for the internal flights instead of the sleeper train was a great pick.

Organization/punctuality - Excellent
All drivers and tour guides were punctual and knew the timings for all events.
Knowledgeability - Excellent
Both tour guides were extremely knowledgeable of everything relating to the sites visited and even ones passed by.
Personality: Both guides were extremely friendly and personable. Would highly recommend them in future if wishing to visit Istanbul. Both went above and beyond for us.

"What a fantastic tour"

What a fantastic tour, would highly recommend to anyone who wants a well organised trip to Vietnam. Hung was an amazing tour guide and is a credit to your company, highly organised, helpful and friendly. His knowledge and person experiences made the trip so memorable. Thank you for making it such a special trip.

"Uncompromising and arrogant"

While their sales support was excellent, I would say the service after, somewhat less. Having booked a dream holiday to Petra, Jordan (mid October), a war broke out within the region. Aware of the no refund policy with less than 30 days’ notice I enquired about a possible voucher or postponement of the trip: some leniency given recent events across the border. With no email response from the original booking agent (UK office) I phoned up (Brisbane) and was told that the area of Petra is deemed safe according to FCDO and tours are still going ahead. Given an initial massacre occurred across the border a mere 100km’s away and at that time the Australian government were scrambling people out from an Airport (Tel Aviv) the same distance away, I hardly would call that safe and would’ve thought my personal feelings on what I deem safe would be taken into consideration. After all one must take responsibility for one’s own safety and not merely rely on opinions of a company in the business of simply wanting to make money.
More than that I hardly think a tour/celebration is being very respectful of all the victims of the war just across the border. I have taken the issue up with the company but honestly it is like talking to a brick wall and they try to palm you off with a few cut/paste passages from their terms and conditions. No apathy or consideration given: I wasn’t asking for a complete refund and was willing to accept some penalty: simply a postponement or voucher of some kind. With their uncompromising arrogance and complete lack of empathy I must advise strongly buyer beware. Like I now tell everyone I know, be careful with this company and I would recommend going with another company (plenty out there) with a little more, or more accurately, any, compassion and understanding.

"Totally Morocco Tour"

I was fortunate enough to go on the total Morocco tour at the end of November 2023.
The tour was amazing and visited many historic sites. The accommodations were varied allowing a nice “sampler” of lodging. There was also a nice variety of food to try. Finally, Jamal was an exceptional guide, with plenty of knowledge and information. He had an excellent mix of current lifestyle information blended with a rich history. I feel much better understand Morocco than I did prior to my trip.
I was also fortunate enough to be traveling with an amazing group of people, who were all strangers, until we met on the trip, which brought an interesting mix of perspectives to the tour. I would highly recommend this trip, and we go again. Thank you, Jamal.

"Bad experience. Would not recommend"

We did the Norway Fjords and Charms 8 day tour with Helena (tour guide). Unfortunately, she was disorganized and incompetent and didn’t know anything about Norway. She made us eat in gas stations most of the trip and would tell us about all of the sites that were cool but that we couldn’t see because it would be closed by the time we arrived. I’ll never use this company again because of her. The bus driver (Tomash) was wonderful and the accommodations were good.
