My claim was processed promptly (cracked windscreen) and the repairer contacted me same day and car was booked in for the next day.
Unfortunately the rear vision mirror casing was cracked, then superglued and I wasn’t informed until I noticed it myself upon arriving home. A telephone call to query this, followed by a picture of the damage emailed to provider and say finally realised the damage even though the technician had told them the mirror went on without any issue. The broken part had been ordered and I took the car back several days later that there was movement where the casing attached to the windscreen so they then decided to order an additional component saying they should’ve ordered it in the first place so I then took the car back for the third time and the final piece was fitted and it seemed to be firm and in the same condition I took it to them in the first place. I was very upset that I wasn’t told about this initially when the windscreen was first replaced and that the technician lied about it being-no issue. The manager has informed me that this will not happen again and was very apologetic. My response was that even though accidents occur people need to be accountable for mistakes which I would have accepted and instead of being lied to and not told of the damage. The revision mirror is now fitted to my satisfaction after two extra visits to this provider
