Once american hartford gold has your money-they will spot you the least value for your dollar- then send it 'ground fed ex' (mine got lost in Utah for 7 days). All other companies will 2nd day an order. This company is so hell bent on taking your money and lacks any professional ethics- RUN like HELL from them. First and foremost let me just say that I highly recommend American Hartford Gold.

I had questions about how to turn my IRA into a precious metals IRA. When I called they put me in touch Nathan. Nathan took the time to explain how everything works, what the price of gold and silver were at the time and how to go about the transition if and when I was ready to make the move. He didn't pressure me at all, just gave me the facts of how different metals performed over time, when I asked him, and even said I could wait until later next week or even later if I wanted. It was totally up to me.

I'm a fairly detail oriented person, so I had a lot of questions for Nathan and he answwered them all. The conversation was wonderful and he really put me at ease about making the move to precious metals because of how thorough he was in his explanations and he didn't rush through the call. By the time we had concluded our conversation, because I had already thought about this move for a while, I saw no reason to wait. I told Nathan if I waited for his call back next week, my answer was just going to be the same as it was now, so let's get this rolling.

The documents came in the email to sign and return and the procedure was not complicated at all. He notified the institution that held the IRA and within a few days the funds were released. Nathan called me back so I could make my choices of the metals and choose from the different forms and sizes in which they came. At that point it was done. It was simple, straightforward and uncomplicated.

When he learned that I was not looking to make a large bulk purchase, or even immediately purchase the minimum that American Hartford Gold requires, he helpfully informed me of other dealers that focus more on smaller purchases so that I could get started.

I’ve never met a salesman who was so helpful, especially after he knew I was not going to make a purchase with him. When my portfolio reaches a point where I can afford to purchase large quantities of precious metals, I will be calling Derek at American Hartford Gold again.
