Very unhelpful and unfair company to buy from....we bought our house from a vendor who sold out to this company.. HBB were hard to contact. They promised one thing then changed their minds. They have no concern for anyone but their own financial gain. To elaborate...after a survey on the property 3 issues arose...a smell of gas at property; the need for an indemnity policy as a sewer runs under house and a few urgent repairs. We negotiated that the gas smell was investigated urgently, the indemnity policy was paid for and a sum taken off selling price to accommodate repairs....all agreed in writing. The day before signing contracts HBB changed mind on paying for indemnity policy . They also refused to sort gas issue meaning we had to get an engineer at our expense to ensure property was save to inhabit, which it would not gave been if repairs not carried out!! I would certainly NOT trust this company at all.......

"MINUS ZERO STARS"

Put our house up for sale with a local Estate Agent we are happy with and after a month of it being on the market we are being harassed by House Buyer Bureau AKA Home Buyers Bureau AKA National Home Buyers. Interesting to note that the first letter from Home Buyers Bureau says on Companies House website that it is a Dormant company.

These crooks when you do a bit of digging through Companies House records show they do not have much money, either that or they are faking their yearly returns.

i was advised to speak to housebuyerbureau but was worried as they onyl had bad reviews. i contacted them with some questions i had but just got a rude and sarcastic respones that ignored my questions and didn't real answer my concerns. i can see why they get bad reviews
