"Excellent!"

Four tyres returned to the supplier within 24 hours for just £36! Collected by DPD at 2pm near Edinburgh and delivered the next day 10am in Kent. Superb service!

"Poor"

Booked, got email to advise collection day so took time off work to wait in. No one turned up so rang customer service just to be told wait it will be today. No it wasn't. Rebooked and again waited in, first excuse driver couldn't find me, strange as never had this problem before. Day went by so again phoned customer service and again told to wait. No one turned up.
3rd attempt, waited in, day went by so called them to find out its outsourced to TNT but they couldn't call them as told its pointless. So I did and made sure the driver had my mobile, he called and collection was finally made.
So DCS just outsource, customer service not interested or can't be bothered. So unless you take control it doesn't happen.
Suggest you avoid .

"Terrible Company that Lacks Customer Service Skills"

I booked a consignment with this company to have them collect a 4x4 tyre for me in Yorkshire and deliver to the Greater London area. Their prices seemed reasonable and their delivery times - next day in most cases - was great. Because of the size of the tyre, it wasn't wrapped or packaged in any way. I've shipped tyres before and had them collected just as they are. When the driver turned up to collect, he refused to take the tyre because "it's too big and heavy" - it's a 4x4 tyre of course it is heavy! - and "it needs to go on a pallet and be wrapped". I confirmed with customer service that it didn't need to go on a pallet but it would need to be wrapped as per the guidance on their website. Had to pay £10 collection failure fee. Didn't agree with it, but went along and paid the fee since I missed that it had to be wrapped. Collection booked again for Tuesday afternoon and the driver never showed. Finally collected on Wednesday morning and the first thing the driver did was laugh about such a big tyre being wrapped and tore the packaging off. He said it was likely to come off during the shipping anyway. He slapped the shipping label on the tyre and away it went.

Tried to work with customer service at Direct Courier Solutions since I paid a £10 collection failure fee when in fact it was collected exactly as it was prepared originally. They've got my money so have no interest in working with me any longer.

In the end, I've got the tyre and I'm out an extra tenner however I will not use this company again and have advised everyone I can to do the same.

"Pretty useless... do not waste your time"

You pay.

They give you a pickup day (not a time - a whole day).

They miss the pickup 'day'.

You waste a day waiting for them at your house.

The person you're sending the parcel to gets annoyed.

You try and call them but their office shuts at 5 - but apparently you have to wait for the courier until 5:30.

You then wait the next day. All to save £10 over a reputable couriers.

Lose, lose, all round.
