"Not very professional, but got the job done, kinda"

Let me start off my saying that they did deliver all my boxes. However, I placed my things in storage at the beginning of March 2020 and received a large invoice. That was fine until I checked in 4 months later to ask about their schedule for billing. 3 emails when unanswered so I called to which they said, oh we didn't invoice you because we don't know when your coming back. There was an extreme lack of communication in the response to my emails. Fast forward to June 2021 and I gave them my time of arrival and asked for an invoice. No response for 3 weeks after multiple emails. Finally I called in July asking when I would receive an invoice and to confirm my drop off date. After insisting that they tell me when I would be invoiced they gave me a "mid August" date. 3 days before the scheduled drop off in September, they changed the date to that Monday and at a different time. No invoice had been received at this point. Sunday night I received an invoice for £596 stating that the it must be paid immediately or my things would not be delivered the next day. (A bit hypocritical) When my things were delivered the next day they told me that they would be unable to carry them up the stairs for me, which I understand from a safety point of view, except I am a small person with multiple health issues and it took me quite some time to get the suitcases up 3 flights of stairs. All this to say, that they did the job that they were hired to do, but with some severe lacking in the bissness/costumer service department.

"Unreliable if you are away"

It worked in the end yet I constantly had to email them as I was away to ask them the status of my boxes as I wasn't able to check on them myself. This could have been avoided if they sent me an automatic email simply stating "We have picked up your boxes". They also picked up the wrong boxes causing me to have to chase them down and travel back to make sure they picked up the correct boxes. I am now trying to get in contact with them as I need to change my date for delivery yet they haven't gotten back to me in two days which is causing me heaps of stress.

"Very satisfied with the whole process"

Very satisfied with the whole process. When the pandemic hit, I had only a few hours notice to pack up my entire dorm and return home. The team was very helpful and understanding, being available at a short notice. Having been away for 18 months, they stored my stuff hassle-free. Kenny and Adam are very reliable and you definitely get your value for money!

This is my second time storing things with Uni Storage Box, but this time I required my belongings to be packed and shipped, as I was unable to return to university from my home country to collect them. Adam and Kenny were incredibly helpful, answered all of my questions and were flexible when I decided my preferred packing date. I also provided some notes about packing certain items, which they took very seriously, and even sent me pictures of how my items were packed so I wouldn't worry.

A special shout-out to Kenny, who regularly updated me about my items being packed, shipped, providing all the tracking numbers and other useful information. He always responded to my questions and was very kind.

Overall, I highly recommend Uni Storage Box for any storage, packing, and shipping services, and will definitely be booking their services again in the future! Thank you guy, you are amazing!
