Customer service was excellent but the policy I bought (silver) didn’t cover end supplier failure, that is, loss of accommodation cover. I only discovered this when reading the small print so had to call to cancel the policy. Thankfully it was within the 14 day cooling off period and they were very helpful so I got my money back. I just expected to be informed about this when I booked my policy initially over the phone.

Great experience with Columbus Direct. I did have to make a claim and it couldn’t have been easier. Did it directly over the phone and received the money very quickly. Even months later when I received another bill it was easily added to my original claim. When do companies ever make insurance claims easy?!
