Best home security on the market. The tech is great and the built in home automation features make it a great platform.

The fact that I can do self monitoring and don’t have to purchase professional monitoring make this a great value proposition. And the availability of short term monitoring for when I’m gone on vacation make this the most flexible security system on the market.

On top of all of that, it’s easy to install and use.

"Horrific support"

Horrific support. Update crashed system and gateway offline, technical support can’t do anything with manual reset. And their response was to wait until Tuesday when everyone is back. So system down for days without support. Don’t waste your time or money... lack of support not worth it. Our Ring cameras always work....

I have used Abode for over 24 months. It has flawlessly protected my home when I’m away. One intrusion and the criminal exited (caught on camera) when the alarm sounded.

We recently added Ring Doorbell to add another layer.

We love the Abode Security and Smart System. Self monitoring home and 1 year pro monitoring of local golf shop. Especially love the geofencing with our cell phones. Have some issues with iPhone but not with LG android phone. Not enough to offset benefits though! Feedback for improvement would be keypad and key fobs. The key fobs need changes just like you've done on the new keypad release. It is difficult to identify keys on the fobs. Other than that keep up good work with Abode system!!

Very capable system with expansion options and upgrades and on-going new and improved features. I chose self monitoring versus contract monitoring. Good range for sensors. I have one in a metal mailbox about 100 ft from house for mail delivery alerts. I’ve installed 6 of the water detectors at strategic locations. The new Keypad 2 is very intuitive with back
lIt keypad activated when near. Only minor issue is that the setup for triggering certain alerts is a bit confusing, but customer support was quick to answer my inquiry on how to set it up.
