"Excellent - good service from people that know about HiFi"

I demo'd and purchased a Naim 252 pre amp, Supercap and 250 power amp from Nintronics on 17th March 2017. Andy was with me throughout the demo mostly sitting quietly to the side of the demo room but it was very helpful to have him on hand to ask questions and to adjust the set up so that I could make a direct comparison with my existing equipment which I had taken with me. I have met Adam, Roger and Andy during my two visits to Nintronics and they are all very knowledgeable and in my experience give balanced advice about HiFi. Their current premises are fairly congested and busy with a lot of equipment passing through but they did a good job setting the room up for the demo plus I understand that they have plans to set up dedicated demo premises in the future.

"Poor Advertising & Customer Service"

Purchased a 4K home cinema receiver to go with my new 4K TV only to find it did not work with the new 4K standard. I contacted them to point this out and at first they appeared disinterested, blaming the manufacturer who's advertising they had merely copied. After quite a few emails back and forth they agreed to exchange, stating a more suitable receiver could be 'switched out' for me, and I would pay the difference. I agreed to this, heard nothing, sent another email, heard nothing, and then another. It was only after my third email they then replied stating I would have to return mine at my own cost, pay a further £200, and then they would send me a replacement. Not impressed with the misrepresentation of the product which I do think was clear enough, further compounded by their lack of replies and then poor offer.

Absolutely recommend the service and very happy about knowledge and advise given. They are really really patient either over the phone or in the store. They also have very large stocks of different sorts of hifi on site. You'll be tried to taste the different but they won't be tired to serve you.

"Fantastic purchase and after-service experience"

Bought a whole new system from Nintronics a few years ago. The guys that came to setup the system were very professional and helpful in explaining the workings of it all. Since the initial setup I have moved the system to a new room and contacted the Nintronics for help/suggestions on how to get the most out of the system in it's new home. The service they provide is excellent - they are always very responsive and have helped me a great deal - which is great as I am an audio newbie. Thanks again Nintronics.

"What a Surprise!"

I'm still shocked, but in a 'Marty McFly meets a DeLorean' kind of way, not a 'David Tennant meets a glass cabinet' kind of way.

The guy over at Nintronics did everything I could have possibly asked for to help out. The service was fast, the price was excellent, and - dare I say it - I may rate them higher than Scan (who were my favorite retailer up until recently).

I can't rate them highly enough. Their site, to be frank, looks like it's from the early 00's and has been hacked together by some kid who's just started learning ICT at College. But who cares when the service is beyond 5*?

Will 100% be using again.

"Simply the best!"

My experience with Nintronics started a couple of months ago when I was looking for a new cartridge for my turntable, after ringinging round hi-fi shops in my area(beds/herts) and being continually told ' I can order one' and getting more and more frustrated it was such a pleasure to hear ' we have a nagoaka MP150 hear that is right in the middle of your budget range, and it is a fantastic cartridge.'
I had never tried nagoaka cartridges but Andys enthusiasm and engaging attitude had me willing to give it a try, so I arranged to call round and collect one. The rest as they say is history! When I arrived at their unit I was a little surprised by what confronted me, an absolute treasure trove of high end audio equipment that made me feel like i'd found Alladins cave. I've been sold hi fi equipment by some of the biggest names hi fi retail and never been made to feel as welcome and my business appreciated.
Since that first visit at the beginning of August I have completey up-graded my system to a Musical Fidelity M3si Amp, Tannoy xt6F speakers and finally and most recently a naim cd5si cd player. (Stayed with my current turntable of choice with nagoaka cartridge) The thing is, my previous amp and speakers were less than a year and 6 months old respectively. And good pieces of kit arcam fmj A19 amp and Monitor Audio bronze 5 speakers but after browsing their website and talking to the guys over the phone the trade in deals I was offered were absolutely fantastic, unbelieveble. Culminating with me trading an Lp12 sondek turntable towards the naim cd player(I still have the tt with nagoaka cartridge) without the guys willingness to be so helpful and more than fair with the trade in prices offered I wouldn't have the system I now have. And note that on two of the deals I was intending to buy ex-demo but the deal was so good I ended up with brand new unopened box kit. Even when I got my first naim cd player which out of the box had a manufacturing fault and didnt work, a quick phone call to Roger and the next day I collected another brand new unopened cd player which was opened and fully tested by Adam(Roger's brother). I can honestly say that the service is second to none and Andy,Roger and Adam are some of the best people I have dealt with in retail. They love what they do and they want you to love what you buy from them.
Hi fi can be a very closed rank club with some very snobbish attitudes towards customers buying at the lower end of the pricing scale but at no time were any of the items I bought pushed on me or discouraged for a more expensive alternative each time the items were what I wanted, and Roger and Co. Made it possible for me to get a system that would have been out of reach to me for a long time to come. For that I cant thank them enough.
If you are in the market for new hi fi or audio visual equipment you need to speak to these guys before you part with your hard earned money and maybe you will come away like I did feeling happy you spent it.

"Excellent Service"

I phoned three times during the week to enquire about a particular products availability. It turns out that stock of the particular item are very low in the UK, but Nintronics had an alternative (Q700s instead of Q500s, but "B" grade) pair or speakers in stock. They offered to show them to me before I purchased them in case there were any issues.

The member of staff (sorry I didn't catch your name!) was very friendly and took the time to unbox both speakers to make sure I was happy with them.

Took them home and wow - love them!

Will definately be recommending Nintronics because of the service received.

"So pleased"

The measure of a good company is when things go wrong & how it is dealt with...this is a follow up from my last review which is important that. I post.
Friday morning I had a follow up call from Adam who had noticed my order had been cancelled & wanted to know if there was anything he could do.
I expained what had happened & he very kindley told me that if I still would like the order of thenaim that he would get it delivered to me me the next day, yes I agreed & I am very happy I did as I write this while listening to the naim this morning.
Thankyou for a great servive & maybe it is the hot weather we have at the moment that made me react quick off the mark on my last review.
10 put of 10 for nintronics and I thing I will be making another purchase of new speakers soon as well.
