"AMR Audiophile Gold Fuse 2.5A for Magnepan"

I've been using AMR Audiophile Gold Hi-Fi Fuse 32mm x 6.3mm (F), for about a 4 weeks now, on Magnepan LRS+ speakers powered by NAD C298 amplifier. I was skeptical for a long time that buying AMR (or any other expensive) fuses would improve the speakers - but I was wrong.
First impressions: At first, I was slightly disappointed by the loss of treble, and to some extent the sterility of the sound image.
However, after a few days, everything improved. Not only the high frequencies, but also the entire spectrum of audible frequencies became what it should be - balanced and pleasant to the ear.
Also, the slight discomfort (rough sharpness in high frequencies, when playing some music sources) that was present when the original Magnepan fuses were used disappeared.
AMR fuses cost me quite a bit compared to regular fuses, about 75 Euros/pair including shipping and VAT, which is about 5% of the price of the Magnepan LRS+ speakers.
I think it's definitely a necessary and worthwhile upgrade. It's a shame the price isn't more affordable, considering they can burn out easily, and I only bought one pair. I've already had my usual fuses blow twice, when suddenly the next TIDAL stream was much louder than the one before it!?!? I hope AMR stays alive for a long time.

"Great product, great service"

I purchased a Rega Planar 3 turntable from Analogue Seduction to replace a 20 Year old Project turntable. The Rega lives up to the hype, it is exceptional, beautifully put together with an amazing sound - I am hearing things on my LPs that I have never heard before! Very pleased with the product and the upgraded ND5 cartridge.

A special mention to Cliff, who provided me with excellent advice and went out of his way to be helpful.
