Coming from a zero tech background, the on-boarding process was very easy. Waqar was great! I have Afnan as my CSM and couldn't be happier about the experience! He's patient, as he's aware of my background (or lack of) and makes me aware of his expectations. I LOVE that it's work at your own pace and if I ever get stuck, there's an absolute ton of experience to help me through whatever it is that I'm stuck on. "They are like the big brother I never had in the industry "

They are like any great company and care deeply about their KPIs. Socially speaking we aren't in touch with the dynamics that make the quality of our products actually great and our lives great. They should give as an option the ability to pay for the whole bootcamp with a percentage of your future salary because they really are missing out on almost ready applicants that are about to switch to something else but started data analyics. I would like for them to have more revenue and cheaper rates for people who are having trouble creating the right experiences, projects and certifications. There are too many people marketing solutions to either a product we should buy or a career we shouldn't get into. The problem with data engineering for many is solved by this company if you are 3/5 - 4/5ths the ideal candidate already. Om and Chris are the best and hopefully my insight so far aligns with the beliefs I need to have to grow into this role.

"Data Engineer Academy helped me learn SQL and get a job!"

I just wanted to share my experience with Data Engineer Academy. I signed up for this program with zero tech skills. I worked in research, but wanted to switch careers to focus more on data analytics. I was uncertain about which program to choose and found this one interesting on social media.

I thought it was a bit pricey, but what stuck out to me the most as compared to most other programs was the fact that they would assist with job placement.

From this program, I was able to learn SQL from scratch, along with database modeling and management in platforms such as Snowflake. I also learned some visualization tools I could use with this such as Tableau. Though I struggled a bit with the Python courses, one thing that was very helpful was the great support from their team.

Instead of having one dedicated contact, there were multiple people I could reach out to with multiple skill sets if I had a questions or became stuck in my learning.

In addition, they delivered on the most important aspects for me, which was helping me tailor my resume, preparing me for interviews via mocks and job description reviews, as well as applying on my behalf and getting me actual interviews which ultimately led to me being hired for a new role (with higher pay) within a few months.

I am happy to recommend them to anyone wanting to learn SQL, database design/management, and data analytics skills.
