"Exceptional customer support team."

I have been a HBXL customer for a few years now. And I am very happy with the software. I use Estimator Express. But what makes the package even better is the support you receive from the team behind the scenes. But a special shout out needs to go to Joe Walsh. He has been exceptional when I have needed tech support. On one occasion, it seemed that I had lost a quote (which had taken a long time to put together) and he spent nearly an hour, taking control of my laptop/pc. And eventually finding the file in a random location!! And saving my day. Again and again he has been 5 star with his advice and help.

"Best building estimator software by far"

Have been using Estimator Express for a year now for estimates from small bathroom & kitchen work to massive extensions and renovations this is without doubt a game changer for tradesman. I've heard the phrase "I've got my life back" in reviews and was sceptical but this software does just that, I don't have to agonise over an estimate for a week checking and double checking to see if I've forgotten something, the simple system of working through the estimate form underground to roof allows me to check as I go. Material costs are updated almost daily and trades and sub con rates are fully customisable, the relatively small yearly cost for the software will pay for itself ten times over per year in accuracy of estimates.
The review is far too short to say how good this software is but I wouldn't be without it now.

"Brilliant software and estimating services!"

Purchased EstimatorXpress when we started out on our own in 2017 and later added PlansXpress to allow take off from clients pdfs. Worked well together so purchased an additional PX licence for the laptop.
All have been great, with the software improving year on year. The few times there have been issues we have received excellent support either by chat or via the telephone.
We have even used their estimating service during a real busy period.
There is a learning curve and help is at hand, but felt it has been a good investment.

"Plans and Estimator Express from HBXL, training and support."

Great bit of software both the PlansExp and EstimatorExp, really enjoy using it plus its great for customer demo's. Online support is also great from the team, Joe must be a very patient person with my questions but doesnt give up and continues to offer help. Toms training sessions are a must have, once again came through when given a challenge slightly outside the box. Recent update to the roofing tool is also very useful and simple to to get your head round. Great to get random calls to offer further support which is quite refreshing as alot of software suppliers take your money and run, not the case with HBXL. Keep up the good work.

HBXL Estimator Express is an excellent software and has been a massive help to myself and customers with it’s clearly laid out quotations page and data reports.

The support team are easy to get contact and always have the right answers.
Also they have online workshops to help you navigate your way around the software with lots of helpful tips.

As a dyslexic builder an not a quantity surveyor Estimator Express really helps me produce professional quotations that are easy to amend and say exactly what I want.

After a disaster with the first software company it was a total relief to find HBXL.
And I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
I only wish I had pushed the boat out and paid for Plans Express.

I have used PlansXpress for around 8 years for my business offering Architectural Services. The original version was good for preparing drawings to submit for planning and building, with many good features.
The latest edition in fantastic, I would recommend it to anyone in the architectural services industry or building.
A lot of effort has gone into this and the end result gives you all the tools required to generate the most complex of drawings.

We have been using HBXL software for years. In all that time, it was always reassuring to know that if there was a need for technical support or advice, it was only a phone call away. Their software is unique and will save you time and hassle. Very accurate and easy to use.

Great product. I have used it for about 8 years.
It does take a while to use to start with, but once you build up a data base, it becomes easy.
Regular updates keep you completely up to date with legislation changes.
Good value for money.
