"Fantastic Stay at Winchcombefarm"
Fantastic Stay at Winchcombefarm. We stayed in Ben's Burrow. It was a very comfortable stay, lovely and warm (November), ensuite bathrooms in all but one bedroom plus an additional separate bathroom. All very high end decor and super clean, plenty of space for the 5 of us. We didn't want for anything as every possible utensil you can think of is provided. Hot tub was very nice addition and the surroundings are so tranquil and beautiful. They offer catering services, but it was very easy to cook and serve our own meals in the extensive kitchen and large dining area. Bear in mind taxi services are very few and far between and very expensive, so be prepared to drive to local shops/pubs, or just stay put and enjoy the lovely accommodation! We loved Scooby the cat, the alpacas and ponies. Highly recommend, good value for money. We will be booking again. Thank you so much Jo

"Second time staying at Bens Burrow"
Second time staying at Bens Burrow, couldn’t fault a thing! Clean, tidy, every piece of equipment available, comfy beds with plenty of towels/shower gels etc. Hot tub was great as was the dome (although we were inept at telescope use!) Friendly cat to entertain the teenagers too!

"The chicken shed was fab"
The chicken shed was fab! Lovely location, loved the hot tub with the sound of the stream in the background, toasting marshmallows on the fire pit, sitting on the hanging chairs as the sun set through the woods. Great walks to the castle at edgehill and National trust Upton Park. Highly recommend.

"We had a lovely family weekend at…"
We had a lovely family weekend at Winchcombe Farm staying in George's Getaway, however I'm not able to give the accommodation higher than 3 stars for the following reasons:
The good stuff - lovely farm venue; hot tubs were great and very relaxing; owners helped us when needed; lovely SMEG appliances; gifts on arrival - cake, flowers; box of apples, plus lovely coffee & supplies left - greatly appreciated.
Not so good stuff - this was not a cheap weekend, probably the most we've paid to go away in similar accommodation and some of the nicer touches were missing - no ice trays in the freezer or ice left (if these were in cupboards they should have been accessible); the only accommodation guide is online through QR code download, which is ok, but not when you need to find something quickly, a hard copy is essential; the outdoor dome was not conducive to star gazing as it was totally condensed inside and we couldn't see out; no contact from owners after check in to check all ok; towels & robes not of the quality we were expecting, they were very well worn; beds and pillows not that comfortable and the rooms with bathrooms in them had heated towel rails that couldn't be turned off, making those rooms so hot and uncomfortable to sleep in.
These items in themselves were not an issue but for the price paid we were expecting much better quality.

"They bend over backwards to make your stay perfect!"
I had such a lovely experience with Winchcombe Farm, from the moment I enquired all the way to the end of our stay.
Jo was so accommodating and friendly, going out of her way to answer any tricky questions and meet our needs. The home itself (we stayed in Ben’s Burrow) was fantastic, in such beautiful surroundings and much larger than I had imagined from the online photos. It was decorated so nicely, and was impeccably clean and tidy.
All the little extras, too, just made this stay perfect. A homemade Victoria Sponge cake, fresh flowers, and a box of hand-picked apples, to delicious ground coffee and fresh milk in the fridge waiting for us. Jo had even decorated our courtyard with bridal bunting in light of our celebration stay! I honestly couldn’t have asked for more - I’m so pleased we stayed here, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. I would recommend this to anyone considering a stay at Winchcombe Farm!

"A Perfect Break"
We stayed in Bob’s Lodge for 4 nights as a family of 6 adults and 2 small children. Jo was a wonderful host who went above and beyond, so thoughtful. She provided birthday bunting, a cot, child’s toilet seat and a shower stool, which was a great help.
The Lodge is fabulous. Spotlessly clean and well thought out. We used the pizza oven and bbq hut, which was so cosy on a chilly evening, and the lovely hot tub. The slide was a great success with everyone, the adults were children again.
The dome was lovely to escape to, just to watch the trees and the sky, and empty your mind.
Would love to visit again.
Thank you Jo.

"Fabulous host and fabulous accommodation"
Having previously had a 3 night break away with our 2 grandchildren in Will’s Tree House earlier this year, we enjoyed it so much, we booked a weekend in Ben’s Burrow with our family (of 8). We had a fabulous time celebrating my birthday. Jo is an excellent “host” and she answered all my many queries prior to our arrival. She’d thought of everything - a wonderful welcome pack of birthday cupcakes, birthday banners and even supplying ice and glasses (for the cocktails ordered from a local business) made our stay even more special. The accommodation was immaculately clean, and everything you need to cook/enjoy your stay, is thought about. The kitchen is fully equipped with high end appliances. We again made full use of the first class facilities (hot tub, pizza oven and bbq) and the numerous hammocks and deck chairs in the garden were a huge hit, as was chilling in the dome overlooking the pond and toasting marshmallows on the fire pit. The countryside is beautiful and the children loved petting the ponies and we did laugh when one of the alpacas decided to “spit” at my husband 😂.
