"Hired car from Venice Marco Polo…"
Hired car from Venice Marco Polo airport. The damage sheet showed no damage to the car. We photographed the car and I noticed some scuffing around the boot area which I marked on the damage sheet. On returning the car damage was pointed out to us under the front bumper and a small cut on a door. Both were very hard to see in the bright sunshine and both were rather trivial. However on examing our photo's we found both marks were already on the car! So now my suspicion is that they know these marks are there and if you do not spot them they are going to attempt to charge you for them!!!!!!
The whole point is that Green Motion should examine the car before hire and mark existing damage on the car's damage sheet.

Very good and friendly staff. However, 9 seat vehicles for eight passengers must have the extended luggage compartment as the vehicle we have been given had the shorter version of luggage compartment. bearing in mind that ALL passengers will have at least one suite case and one hand luggage. We had to struggle to fit all baggage in! The rest was just fine.

Dreadful company, never use them!
They have taken over £220 from my credit card after end of rental for alleged damage which they state related to 2 small paint chips. Not only were the alleged areas tiny, needed close up picture sent, they have refused to prove we're not present before my rental by supplying earlier pictures. How anyone can be held liable for paint chips (including one on the roof!) is beyond me this is normal wear and tear and cannot be avoided by even the most careful driver. Scrapes, dents etc fair enough. Cheap rental prices but scandalous company once you get home. Avoid them at all costs!!!!
Thank you for your reply Green Motion. An inspection before and at the end of my rental was made, but these 2 charged for areas were so small as to not be seen, and are only visible on the documented photos in extreme close up. Noone would have noticed them without getting perfect lighting and being less than 30 cm away. AGAIN, normal wear and tear of any road vehicle, unavaoidable, and so small only a company looking to fleece respectable careful drivers would consider them to warrant recording.

Palermo aereoporto ritiro auto 21,30 arrivo previsto aereo volotea 21,00 sul contratto di noleggio scritto il numero del volo tempo di ritirare i bagagli e sceso per la prima volta aereoporto palermo mi guardo in giro e non vedendo il chiosco Green motion chiamo alle 21,40 non mi risponde nessuno ne al fisso ne al cellulare chiedo al ufficio informazione e mi dicono che solitamente rispondono e che anno un sevizio navetta in aereoporto costretto a prendere un taxi il giorno dopo non rispondono prima delle 9,00 dicono che loro alle 21,30 chiudono e che la mia macchina non e era piu disponobile causa mancato ritiro

Una vera truffa!!!
Affittata un’auto in Polonia e alla riconsegna mi sono stati addebitati 280 € per danni che erano sicuramente già presenti. Si trattava di piccoli segni sulla parte inferiore sx della vettura, segni e impossibile vedere poiché per notarli devi guardarli controluce e sono nella parte inferiore della vettura, quindi al momento del ritiro del veicolo nessuno se ne accorge!! L’unico sistema per fare quei segnetti sarebbe sfregare contro degli arbusti.. peccato che abbia fatto 500 km in autostrada e parcheggiato l’auto ben distante da siepi o alberi o prati!!! Il sistema in cui li cercano sulla carrozzeria al momento della riconsegna e talmente ovvio per capire che è tutto premeditato!!! Fate girare.. che saltino per aria sti delinquenti patentati! Grazie

Dirty car upon reception. Staff noted damages but only "larger scratches because the small ones do not matter." I noticed a large one the staff skipped and it was quickly added. Upon return however, the car was washed and some previously hidden damages became visible. Staff was quick to point out scratches that were not caused by us and proceeded to charge us.
I assume they make their money by repeatedly charging damages to the car and not having them fixed... multiple damages pre-existed in the vehicle. I am currently researching whether or not it makes sense to involve the police.

Esperienza negativa, peccato che io non abbia letto prima recensioni, dopo aver detto che è tutto ok, sia alla consegna che alla restituzione, mi hanno addebitato dei danni già esistenti o inesistenti graffio al copricerchio in plastica. rendendo il noleggio costoso sebbene con auto vecchie e consumate. Non consiglio

Unfortunately, all the negative reviews here have been proven to be true. These are ordinary thieves. When they gave up the car, they tried to cheat me, saying that the fuel tank is full and they stressed it in the contract. It was only after my quarrel that they marked the correct level of 2/8. In detail, many small scratches have been marked on the protocol. You have to look after the employee because not all damage is marked. No accident or damage to the vehicle occurred during the rental week. When handing over the car, the employee stated that the car is so dirty (attached photo of the car on the day of donation) that I have to go to a car wash located 20 minutes away and wash the car at my own expense. I refused because the car was clean and without damage. The employee refused to accept the car. It was 11.15 and the plane was 12.40. I gave the employee the keys and wrote that there is no damage to the car. But the employee said that it can be confirmed only after a few hours as another employee will drive the car to the car wash because they do not have such a possibility on the spot. On the same day I received an e-mail from them that they demanded 343 Euro from me for the damage to the back door, and that I have 10 days to respond to this information and propose a different amount that I would like to pay them. I wrote back the same day that the car was without damage and send a photo of the damaged place in the car. I had photos of the car on the day of the rental and on the day of the return, I wanted to compare. They never wrote back and did not send pictures, 12 days later they took 343 Euro from my credit card without informing me. Two weeks earlier I rented a car at a different company at the airport, I gave the car much more dirty and had no comments. Flee from these thieves. They earn from inventing damage. When I returned the car, other customers had the same problem.
