Good afternoon,
I would like to make a complain about my booking I have made with you.
I booked a car from 27.05-31.05
Unfortunately my flight was delayed and I landed in Palermo around 11pm and green motion company was closed so I could not get my car.
I have come back to them day later (today)
28.05 and a have a problem with my credit card as it was €1200 deposit and my bank blocked transactions as they suspect fraud.
I have called them and explain it was me and went through all security checks.
They confirmed that I can use my card afterwards.
Unfortunately I was told by the member of the green motion stuff that they want be able to give me a car as I was supposed to pick it up day before.
They didn’t release the car for which i have paid in full to you on booking date.
I’m with my wife and daughter with no car and idea how to get to ma hotel.
I suppose green motion company have rented this car to someone else.
I will have to seek legal advice and take this case further as it was something extremely bad how is was treated.

Personale poco educato, poco chiaro e disonesto. Sovrapprezzo se ritiri e consegni l'auto non indicato durante la prenotazione on-line, altrimenti avrei cambiato. Arrivato in orario all'aeroporto per colpa del ritardo della loro navetta ho eseguito le pratiche di ritiro oltre l'orario (ma ripeto per colpa loro) e mi hanno fatto pagare il sovrapprezzo ugualmente. Solo perché ero accompagnato da mio figlio ho ceduto altrimenti piuttosto li spendevo in taxi .
Veramente da evitare e poi ci si lamenta se il turismo straniero in Italia diminuisce....con questi personaggi....

Ottima esperienza gentili e professionali. Ho preso per 3 giorni una Ford Fiesta nuova pulitissima e con il navigatore a noleggio presso la GREEN MOTION Filiale di Milano di stazione centrale e sono contento di averlo fatto. Ero in ritardo con due borsoni mi partiva il Treno e il ragazzo che lavora al banco per non farmi perdere il treno mi ha accompagnato in auto alla stazione. La consiglio vivamente!!! BRAVI E GRAZIE!!!

Presso l’Agenzia di Cinisi (PA) sono proprio dei disonesti!!! Maleducati e presuntuosi .... pensano di poter fregare i turisti!!!! Vergognosi a dir poco. Esperienza del tutto negativa, compagnia da evitare assolutamente! Auto senza benzina, 5 giorni di noleggio pagati 547 euro!!! I servizi accessori superano del 500% il costo relativo al nolo principale!!! Incredibile, al momento della riconsegna sono andato in bagno e, con nostra grande sorpresa, è comparso un graffietto che volevano farci pagare 260 euro!!!! Pazzesco!!! Mai mai più!!!!

Green Motion has put me and my family in a very dangerous situation, I will never use them again;
Our rental IT891568040 in Venice between 2018-03-17 and 2018-03-24.
The problems started already at the pick up as we had ordered four child seats. Two seats for children of 1,5 years and two seats for children of 4,5 years. We had specified this carefully in the booking already from the beginning but upon arrival we were given ONE seat that suited the older child and THREE that suited the younger. The staff called us before to ask about the seats but he did this so late (the same day as we were to arrive) that he could not provide correct seats. If he would have called a week before he could have secured correct seats for us. This caused discomfort for the children during the trip but mainly putting our children at risk.
Next problem occurred later the first evening. According to the contract we were supposed to have snow chains, a necessity as we were going up in the Mountains (Pozza di Fassa). The car was not fitted with snow chains even if this was stated in the contract. Instead I was informed (on our return - 24th of march) that they had replaced “snow chains” with “winter tyres” (which were not new but worn down some 50%), but this was done without informing us. This caused us SEVERE problems. We had to stop 20 kilometres from our destination (Falcade). The conditions required snow chains in order to continue safely. We had to take a taxi (four-wheel drive with new winter tyres) at midnight with all our luggage and sleeping children in the car. This costed us initially EUR 100 but then also additional costs in getting the car to our destination. After three days we really needed the car and my husband went to get it by bus (only one bus per day) but the roads were still not clear enough to drive safely without snow chains so he had to make a big detour (300 km) to get through to our destination. A part from the discomfort being away for 5 hours coming home at midnight during our vacation , he also estimate an additional cost for diesel of EUR 27 (assuming that this car consumes 6 litres per 100 km and the price of diesel is EUR 1,5 per litre), and he did not bring up other costs like bus tickets, eating dinner on a pizzeria and tolls for the autostrada. The missing snow chains caused us costs, trouble and increased the risk for me and my family.
If Green Motion wanted to change the terms of the contract, replacing the agreed “snow chains” with “winter tyres” they need to ask us if this was OK. We needed to agree upon this mutually. If we did not agree to this change we shall been entitled to the snow chains stated in the contract. In this case we were not even informed leaving us in the mountains with my family in a potentially dangerous situation and only there discover that we did not have the equipment to continue our journey safely.
Altogether, our experience of this rental was very bad. Failure to deliver the agreed child seats causing discomfort and putting our children at risk. Absence of agreed snow chains causing additional costs of at least EUR 130, putting our family at risk, leaving us without a car for at least three days of out rental period and discomfort for my husband to get it back from where we had to leave it.
I very much would like to hear your comments on your experience with Green Motion.
But for sure we will never use them again.
