I have wrote a honest review on google about how bad Yeovil Audi really are. They have responded by blatantly lying in what they say. To cut a long story short, we were travelling from Teesside and I told them we would by flying down and getting train for last leg. They told us the car was in great condition, flights and train booked. Then call day before to say car needs 1 part. So there reply even makes it look worse than what they told us. So no apology or mention of refunding for flight or train tickets. I didn’t even know any work had been carried out and certainly didnt know it was not driving in a straight line. This reply is the first time it had been mentioned. You have been warned, avoid at all costs.
“As discussed with yourself at the time, the car could not be sold as the work done by another Bodyshop/workshop had been done poorly/incorrectly, the car was not driving in a straight line and required a number of parts. For this reason we did not sell the vehicle and offered to source another vehicle”.
“Our workshop team could not guarantee the fitting of new parts would correct the issue 100%. In the end the Q3 was traded as it couldn't be sold as Approved Used from Yeovil Audi. We wouldn't sell a vehicle if we couldn't guarantee the fault would be corrected”.

Unfortunately I have to give a star.I paid around £4000 to carry out different repairs to my car and I took it back with more problems than before.They will not take responsibility for anything.They promise to call you but they never do.No communication between staff.They told me that I have to pay another £700, I paid and a few days later they refunded me because it was a mistake in the first place.I kept calling about the issues that my car had after having it back….6 months later still no call.

The only reason I return to Audi Yeovil is Dan Costelloe, he is very knowledgeable and cares implicitly about the customer. I can’t rate Dan highly enough, he’s an outstanding individual who will no doubt have a long lasting and successful career.

I thank Yeovil Audi for their response, however I did not see the pricing on the shop floor as I had reviewed the car on line and I don’t recall seeing the showroom display price list. The salesman did not break down the costs during the discussion.
Of note, they have failed to respond to my other points and facts stated within my review and I have still not received my deposit back.
I very rarely write any public reviews but in this instance I am making an exception due to the poor service I received from Yeovil Audi.
1. I turned up to view the vehicle at a pre arranged time. When I got there, after driving an hour, I was informed by the salesman that I couldn’t test drive any because I didn’t have my National Insurance number. I was not told that prior to arriving.
2. During the process of making the purchase, the salesman told me that I should purchase the after sales service package because if I serviced the vehicle at a non Audi garage, Audi would not honour the warranty- which is total misinformation and fortunately I am aware of the legalities of this and pointed this out - not everyone is. He tried to pull it back and say that I had misunderstood him. Very disappointing.
3. Over the telephone I queried the delivery charge built into the price which had not been disclosed until I received the sales paperwork - the vehicle was already in the showroom- the salesman actually raised his voice to me and was incredibly rude.
4. Wen I advised the salesman handling the call that I would escalate my concerns about the situation he suggested that as his manager was “sitting next to him and supporting the interaction “ any escalation would be a pointless exercise. Thereby suggesting any management review would be biased.
5. Whilst speaking to a manager who contacted me to resolve my complaint about the treatment I had received, I expressed my wish to consider whether I would continue with the purchase. He informed me that I would have to be refunded my deposit there and then in that case. No meaningful resolution was provided.
I am not sure of the legal position and whether they can insist that they return my deposit to allow the vehicle to be sold to another purchaser but that is what happened.
In this day and age I thought that the motor industry had become more transparent in it’s practices and dealings with females. I am left with the distinct impression that this is not always the case and, on this occasion, the company was severely let down by it’s representatives.

The part exchange of my existing car and purchase of a new replacement was handled expertly and efficiently. Following the placement of the order I was updated on a regular basis as to the build progress and likely delivery date. The new car was excellently prepared/presented and at handover the features specific to the car were fully explained.
