"Great Reputation, But Disappointing Attention to Detail"
I have been a loyal customer of Icons.com, but my most recent purchase (close to AUD 4,000) was disappointing due to several unresolved issues:
Framing Quality – The back panel of the expensive framed jersey was not properly secured, making it unstable and at risk of falling out, the backing board of the framing rack looks like it has been reused from an old one.
Mounting Technique – The jersey was overly stretched horizontally, which may cause permanent damage if removed in the future.
Customs Declaration – Despite using a discount code, the item was declared at full price instead of the actual amount paid, which seems unreasonable.
Authenticity Concerns – Neither the jersey nor the certificate had a security hologram, raising concerns about whether this was an oversight or something else.
Icons.com remains my top choice for football memorabilia, but there is significant room for improvement in craftsmanship and attention to detail.

"Sehr hohe Nebenkosten "
Sehr hohe Kosten ... Musste ca. 60 % des Bestellwerts nochmal extra bezahlen für die Verzollung, da Icons absolut hier nichts gemacht hat... Keine Papiere am Paket angebracht etc.
Das kann doch nicht sein!
Über die Trikots war ich auch enttäuscht... 0815 Müll bei Mystery bekommen.
Da hatte ich bei anderen Anbietern schon andere Vergnügen und vorallem nicht so hohe Nebenkosten.
Auf die Reklamation welche ich per Mail an Icons über diese hohen Kosten gesendet habe, kommt keine Reaktion.
Schade - damit das erste und das letzte Mal dort bestellt!

"The signed book that wasn't "
Ordered a book signed by Jimmy Greaves as part of a retirement gift for a huge Spurs fan at work. Greaves was (still is) his idol.
The book was in great condition and really well protected in its box, but the signature, which I have no doubt is genuine, was on a loose piece of flimsy paper inside the book. It was not a signed book as advertised but a book with a separate signature.
