I’m glad I ordered a sample first. I thought it was solid wood. It’s mdf with a very cheap paper veneer.

They look great, but the quality is only okay. The last set of frames had the ends chipped exposing raw wood. Not surprising as wood does that, but I would have expected Mirrormates to touch up the tips before shipping. Another problem is when you pull the tape behind the frame, some of the tapes break before exposing all the sticky tape. Not sure why this happens. I contacted them and they seemed surprised.

We updated all 5 bathroom mirrors in our home from builder grade no frame mirrors to wonderful, classy mirrors with the new frames.
Took us about 3 hours to install all 5 frames. Some of them very large, so definitely need two people for those. Very easy, for two of us.
Everything fitted well, except one mirror that was very tight, which we expected. We just sanded it down a little bit to fit.
Recommend doing this for a quick, easy, and affordable update.

I've seen many shops re-selling MirrorMate frames and I always find it fascinating. For me personally, my experience with this store is wholly positive. Their service people are very courteous and very professional. The prices are reasonable, too! Will shop for more.

I ordered 2 frames and they look absolutely gorgeous. The transformation is amazing. They were very easy to assemble and install. I highly recommend this product. You won't be disappointed.

I presume their frames are nice, but then your order would have to actually arrive to find out. I ordered my frame in April when I inquired in May as to its shipping date I was informed that my moulding wouldn't be available until June and would likely ship June 15th. On June 15th I inquired again about the status of my order, this time I was told July 15 or I could select another moulding. I suggested they refund my purchase, which they did promptly enough.
Apparently customer service is a lost art at Mirror Mate. Had they alerted me in some way about a problem getting the moulding they sold me and offered an immediate refund or a discount on another moulding for my month-long delay I might not be writing this negative but accurate review. Instead, I was told I could pick another moulding or wait.
To say I am disappointed is something of an understatement. This was a remodel project with a deadline.
I cannot recommend this company based on performance.

"This is the worst nightmare I've had…"

This is the worst nightmare I've had with a product. I bought it Feb. 10th, 2020. When it came the box was broke and the frame was scratched. They did take it back and send me another. The next frame we hung, was the correct size, put it up, beautiful. When I read the directions, they said to spray your cleaner on a rag and wipe mirror only, so I did very careful with it.Went to clean the mirror yesterday to look at it and the color was pealing off. The color is on a tape that is applied to a plastic frame, very thin. It looks terrible . The tape is so strong that now I don't know what to do, I was thinking just get it off my mirror without breaking my mirror. I pd $240.00 for this. I put a call into them again yesterday, I'll let you all know how this turns out.

I just installed my Chelesa White frame, and it looks beautiful. This now completes my master bathroom. Looking forward to ordering another frame for my 2nd bathroom. Karyn

It’s beautiful but the corners didn’t fit perfectly together without some gaps. It was hard to install because our mirror is so large. I would buy it again but the price is a bit too high.

It has been over a month since we put our frame up, I wanted to get my information clear and find the time to do it (: I hope it will help someone. We really love the frame, Tynetta with customer service had the patience of a saint with me. She guided me through much of the paranoia I was having concerning measuring and frame choice. I would only give one word of advice to ANYONE doing it with a BEVELED mirror read, "Commonly asked questions first!" When I discovered the site I got all excited at the choice of frames in various styles, colors and widths and went straight to picking a few out.

But wait! If you have a 1" or more beveled mirror you MUST pick only the frames that are 3" or wider in order for the strong adhesive to sit flush on the mirror and cannot extend to the 5/8" for better side coverage. Our 7' long 3' wide mirror was more of a challenge than most considering the size, bevel and back splash on the sink. To the far right of the mirror it ended with a 2 1/2" space, then the wall with a medicine cabinet on the side so you could not see the frame from the SIDE, no problem. But to the far LEFT of the mirror there was a 7 3/4" space between the mirror and another cabinet. I had to keep in mind also where the sink back splash ended and understood not to add out the 5/8" because of adhesive concerns on the 1' bevel. Now is the part that I wish we would have "re-thought" before I gave our final measurements.

We chose the Pemaquid Old World Silver because it curved around "slightly" and fit the 3" or more requirement for a beveled mirror. We did not go out the recommended 5/8" for fear of the adhesive not working right and the bevel. I actually asked for 1/8" more on the left but wonder if I could not have gone 3/8" since it was on the side, and the adhesive was holding the 3 sides well. Unfortunately, we could see the line of the mirror on the side because it fit EXACTLY on the end of the mirror. We discovered this on our "test run" so I mudded and painted in the left side of the mirror the best I could and it came out okay, you really have to look for it to see--oh well. Last but not least, if you have to replace your clips holding the mirror because of the size of the clips BEWARE if you have a large mirror and be sure to start at the bottom, do ONE at a time. We thought because of it's size our large mirror certainly must be glued to the back of the wall WRONG!!!!!!! When we removed the first clip the mirror started to SHIFT!!! I almost had a nervous breakdown, quite the drama, ha? But we prevailed and survived, got the new clips on and all's well that ends well, we love our mirror!!! It no longer looks like a dept store mirror! Thank you Tynetta and everyone at MirrorMate! Linda & David
