"Not great service for online orders"
Ordered a table which did not arrive within the time guide provided by India Jane. Called customer services who said there were import delays and it would be a few more weeks.
Left it a few more weeks and then chased again - similar answer then did say they would follow-up but they didnt call back.
After a further few weeks we had a call from the new manager of the Marlow store saying they had found our table in the back of the stockroom and did we still want it
We went over to collect but when we got it it home there were no fittings or instructions. Called the Marlow store who were very helpful and arranged for the fittings to be sent, which arrived a couple of weeks later.
A long saga and we never did get the instructions, but we managed without as we didn't want to wait any longer

As per another users' recent experience, and hard to believe though it may be, as I'd always thought this seemed a respectable company - this firm appears to be incapable of delivering the product that they sell. I ordered an armchair in February 2022 at the Guildford branch, was promised delivery in June, but have still not received it. They take your money, make promises and then don't deliver the goods. They don't answer emails. They don't return phone messages, and you end up being forced into long chats with the owner/ CEO Jit Bhasin, who basically keep trying to avoid actually explaining what's going on, and making endless excuses about supply issues etc. I am also still waiting for my goods and/or deposit back. Clearly a company to avoid at all costs.
Fyi - did finally receive my armchair...and am happy with it...almost worth the wait!

"dishonest and incompetent cheats"
Do not trust this company. They take your money, make promises and then don't deliver the goods. They don't answer emails. They don't return phone messages. The worst is the owner/ CEO Jit who sets the whole culture of poor service and never responding. They lie repeatedly about delivery dates which never happen. I ordered goods in early 2022, they have promised delivery dates on multiple occasions and then fail to deliver. I am still waiting for my goods. Avoid at all costs.

"Waiting 4 months for delivery"
Item ordered on 4 June. Delivery promised in three weeks. The promised the week later. Then promised a month later. Now it will be four months. Don't order from this company. Appalling service.

"Awful experience - Never buy from India Jane"
Awful experience, do not buy from India Jane.
I ordered a sofa in January and have only ever been given false timelines and expected delivery timeframes. I have had to chase them for information throughout the process and they cannot provide any answer as to why they cannot deliver the sofa. I have resorted to requesting my money back and they have been ignoring me continuously for weeks. Appalling customer service especially after spending thousands of pounds. They don't care about customers.

"Poor colour representation, good delivery"
I ordered a “gold” lampshade which arrived quickly and nicely packaged. The gold isn’t gold it is, at darkest, primrose yellow - and really cream I think. The finish isn’t great close up, wonkily glued maybe? but it doesn’t matter too much, it just looks like I couldn’t be bothered to try to match another white shade in the room which wasn’t the look I was going for.

Do not order anything online. The staff are terrible and not helpful at all. Very stressful to deal with.

"Worst customer experience"
Worst customer experience, went in just to have a look around and ask for some prices and the people In there didn’t say hi when I walked in, they were all gathered round the tills and it made me feel super uncomfortable.. I asked for a price for some of the accessories in there and they looked at me like I couldn’t afford anything. When I left I said thank you and no one acknowledged me, so I said it again and the man was just rude. Won’t be going back in there again!

"This is no luxury reputable brand- just a bunch of bandits"
Bought a dining room table. It fell apart within 18 months. The pedestal leg holding it up fell off. It was not put together correctly. I got in touch with the store and I chased and chased for follow up. I said i would get the table fixed in my home town instead of sending it to Italy...cheaper easier option and meant I might actually get to keep the table my family sits at every day?
Chased and chased with telephone calls and emails. "Head office" never responded to the store manager in Bath. I got quotes for fixing it. Never got a response during two lock downs and NOW...."sorry its been too long we not interested in helping you". India Jane will not even reply to emails about picking up their table and giving me my money back for selling faulty mechandise.
Never EVER buy anything from India Jane. Disreputable, shocking customer service, substandard product and not willing to deal with selling faulty furniture. This is no luxury brand just a bunch of bandits!

"I placed an order with India Jane in…"
I placed an order with India Jane in early January with a product delivery time stated as 3 weeks from the order. 6 weeks later and no item received, no responses to emails, no-one is manning the phones. I know it’s a difficult time with COVID but not providing any customer service at all, yet being happy to take your money, is frankly beyond appalling. All other retail businesses have adapted, why can’t this one?
