"I am so frustrated with India Jane"

I am so frustrated with India Jane. In December I ordered an expensive lamp, when it eventually arrived it was not big enough for space and didn't make the statement I'd hoped. I contacted them on 30th December to say that I'd hoped to take it back to a nearby branch but we had suddenly gone into Tier 4 so shops were shut. The girl was helpful and said that in the circumstances she would get the lamp collected the next week and would be in touch to advise which day. Since then I have not heard another thing. I have tried phoning (no phones are being manned) and I've emailed several times but have had no response at all. So I'm stuck with a £200 lamp, which I dare not send back myself incase the refund doesn't get processed. I will have to wait until the stores open again and hope they will honour their initial commitment to refund. It's pathetic that a company this size, selling very expensive goods is completely unable to provide any customer service during this time.

"Cannot get my order or receive a refund"

I ordered a sofa from India Jane in early January. An ex-display item with the delivery indicated as 2-3 weeks. My card was charged on the same day for the full amount. Since then (about a month later), I still have not received the sofa, nor any communications from India Jane regarding the delivery. I sent a follow up email and received a job-committal response once (about 3 weeks ago). Since then, I have been emailing them and trying to call, without any response whatever. All phone numbers are unmanned because of covid, and no one is responding to my emails sent to addresses listed on their contact form. There are no other means of contacting this seller provided. I will be speaking to my credit card provider and reporting this as fraud, to get a refund.
Such a shame because my past experiences with this store have been very positive. Not sure what has happened but I’m certainly put off from any online shopping with them.

"The frustrating experience of shoppig at India Jane"

This was the first time I purchased anything from India Jane and it will be the last. I was after some prints for the hallway and saw India Jane offering Avios point for purchase made through the Avios store. I bought 2 framed prints. The lead time was not explicit at all but I read on the website that overall 2-3 weeks lag is to be expected. Almost 4 weeks on I had: no comms from India Jane about the status of my order, I emailed lots of different email account over the last week all to no avail. The suggested ‘contact us’ emails differ on the website, versus those in order confirmation email versus the first ever automatic reply email I got today (woohoo!). On top of this ‘disappearing act’, Avios help team said that they declined to assign me with the Avios as apparently I didn’t make the purchase through the Avios shop - funny that, since my visit is tracked at the same time as my purchase confirmation email came through. Even more exciting is that the Avios people managed to actually get through to someone in India Jane!?!?!
Appalling customer service, very upset with my experience and will not be shopping there again. In the meantime it’s no prints and money already paid - feels like I’m being conned!
India Jane - sort yourself out before you trade online!
