I rang Motorhog to get a price for scrapping my car. A price was given in 30 seconds and after thinking about it for a day, I accepted and a pick up date and time was agreed. The truck arrived on time, the driver was friendly and efficient and the car taken away. The money arrived in my bank account the same day, so I can’t fault the service.

Extremely rude customer service, never recommend to anyone. I bought a car and they sold it without letting me know. Did not even make the effort to refund. Avoid them at any cost. Just to save yourself time and money.

I visited motorhog salvage site in Doncaster today to collect a vehicle the counter staff was dam bad manned for no reason to the customers and spoke down to the people in front of me . Manners cost nothing so please try to improve you customer relations training because I'll never use motorhog again .
The guys on the yard was wonderful and most helpful so thanks . I buy vehicles from all over the country and this was the worst I've seen by office staff .

"BEWARE STAFFS ARE VERY RUDE🤬"
I don’t want to leave any star for them, because Staffs are very rude and helpless, no one in the know how to talk to the customers, I’m business man my self, and my staff talk to my customers like that, I would show them the one way door, and because of the holidays I couldn’t pay and I want over by one hour, has to pay £60.00 for late fee. Disappointed not again motor hog, and highly NOT recommending TO ANYONE. Beware people.

I ordered a handbrake module for my Jaguar S-Type 2.7 L and provided them all the specifications and confirm with them and they said this is available they said before £100 and then VAT and then and delivery charges with ended up with £18 so the total but charged me £138 anf when it was delivered so the garage fixed it and it was worse than that then my part in my current car so then I have to return I have to pay additional labour to my car because this part has to be taken out from the car for return.the handbrake module was worst than,what I had already in my car.it was jamned,making noise.why motorhog has sent a defective part,which has costed me additional labour.they should pay for the garrage.

I would not recommend Motor Hog to anybody who buys or intends to buy from auctions. Last month, I have placed a bid of £20. Unfortunately, I have won this auction. Their fees even on the items of low value are set so high and from the beginning their plan is to charge for an old item the same amount of money as you would pay when buying new in the shop! And when it comes to a problem they do not seem to be competent enough to help you solve the problem. Very unprofessional approach to a client! If you want to overpay for an item or lose your money the best place for it is Motor Hog.

"Excellent service"
Replied to my email enquiry, and telephoned me the next day (as closed when email sent) .Excellent telephone manner, ordered item friday, told would be delivered on monday, got a text saturday morning to say being delivered today at 13.00 - 14.00. Arrived at 13.31, packaged well, cannot fault the service i received. Well done Motorhog

Offered me £285 for my car and said someone would be in touch to arrange collection. No-one got in touch.
I left it 4 days then rang the number on the website. Was told I needed to speak to the auction team, so rang another number. Was then told I needed to speak to the buying team and transferred before I could even take a breath in response. Finally, a decent member of staff managed to organise a collection. Everyone, other than the final person I spoke to was ignorant, abrupt and rude.
When they arrived to collect the car, another abrupt and surly staff member told me that despite me giving the car condition a 'poor' rating (the lowest I could have given it), they could only offer me £185 as they thought it was 'average' condition. I told them to forget it.
The entire point of Motorhog is to sell the vehicle quickly without any messing about. I've had a week of waiting, hassle dealing with them and finally a ridiculous offer based on either a staff member or a website's mistake. I could have sold the car for double their offer on ebay in the time I've spent messing about. That's exactly what I'll be doing now and certainly won't be using this joke of a company again.
