"Hired for a job cannot get paid"

Was hired to take photos of a tire recycler. Had to access through private property. I entered and launched as the directions noted in the job request. The foreman for the recycler came out as I was launching off of the private road. He asked me to leave and stated there was no way he would let anyone take photographs of the tires. This job was 45 minutes from my house. The pay wasn’t great, but figured it could be worth it when I provide quality photos. Reached out to the contact and asked if they could get the communication fixed between the client and the recycler. Their was no resolution, and obviously the client did not have permission to access the property. I requested to be paid for my time since I was hired for a job, and by no fault of mine it could not be completed. I will now have to take Dronegenuity to small claims court to get paid since they will not respond to my emails. I would not do business with this company for any reason.

I am extremely happy with the results of the drone pictures that I received in conjunction with the marketing of my house. The website was easy to use, my contact, Matt, was extremely helpful and the pilot, Tom, was excellent. Everything was timely and professional. Would definitely use them again!!

"Order Never Fulfilled or Refunded as Promised…"

I placed an order and fully paid for drone photography back in Feb, 2022. After 2 weeks of waiting for my videos and photos I had yo call and get an update on my order. I was told the local drone piglet had mechanical issues with their drone. At that point I asked them to cancel my order and requested a full refund because my commercial listing was under contract and I didn't need the videos anymore. I was told by Dronegenuity they would process my $849 refund right away. Today is April 27th, 2022 and I just sent my 3rd and final request for a refund. I have contacted my credit card company and they have been investigating my complaint now for 3 weeks. This is just flat out theft and you need to find a local company to deal with.

Hired them back in October to film two properties. One property the footage was horrible, so they went back a second time, but only captured one of my anchors, nothing else in the plaza. The other property I only received photos even though I paid for both video and photos. After complaining about both, I was ghosted by the rep for months. Then finally after harassing phone calls he said he would give me a refund. I still have not receive a refund.

"Training lesson with company"

I completed a training lesson with this company. I enjoyed my time very much. I did not charge my drone batteries before coming to the lesson and the trainer had some extras they allowed me to use. They showed me how to use all the different setting in the DJI drone app, including taking 360 shots. I think it was money well spent. The trainer also gave me their number after the lesson if I had any problems I ran into and showed my a local drone page on Facebook I could join.

"I was trying to make my website better"

I was trying to make my website better. My local new channel has a drone for there intros and I wanted to replicate some of the shots of my town they use. I was able to send over the news cast website and the folks at drone genuity were able to get the same shots. They even showed me how to make the video smaller to fit my website. I thought the price was maybe a little high until I saw the shots. They were well worth it. I am trying to have my local golf course use a drone now with them to get shots like the golf channel.

"Not friendly or helpful"

I am a graduate student studying applications of unmanned systems. Our assignment this week was to reach out to a local company, and ask for information about their services and quotes for an aerial service. Drone genuine was very quick to respond to my initial request until they realized it was a school assignment. Then they refused to provide me with any information. It’s a shame companies aren’t willing to help students. I wouldn’t use them in the future for a real project need. Nor will I ever recommend them to anyone.

"Beware of accepting drone pilot…"

Beware of accepting drone pilot contracts from "dronegenuity". Months ago, I applied to work for dronegenuity. No response came. Out of the clear blue and without any contact (like...hey you're hired) they sent a contract to be filled on a commercial property. Promising details and an upload link would be provided once you reply to the email. I replied and received no further instruction, nor answers to key questions about the job. Absolutely nothing. They gave a 3-day window and did not respond. What kind of company does that? I wasted 2-hours of research (i.e. aeronautical charts, weather, NOTAM's, time of day sun, parking lot capacity, surrounding business types for backdrop, etc.). They completely wasted my time and more importantly...the client's time. I contacted them explaining their error twice...I never got a response. Needless to say, a big employment diappointment.

"Needed help as a new pilot"

I had my one on one training today in northern CA with Elliott. I had a list of things I wanted to learn. He went over each item until I was comfortable and ready to move on. For me the in person training is the only way to go. This was money well spent.
