Shaun came to see me one evening on his way home from another appointment and couldn't have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and he demonstrated different mobility chairs, giving me good advice. He was polite and courteous. I would definitely recommend him. He gets 5 stars from me.

Following a lengthy search for a new powered armchair for my wife we were recommended Shaun McCluskey from Channel Healthcare. After an initial home visit Shaun couldn’t have been more helpful in making suggestions best suited to my wives conditions. After trialing various options he was able to put forward his recommendation to our local health authority and occupational therapist for the best suited chair. After been approved and delivered we now have a chair which meets her needs. Shaun has since made subsequent visits ensuring everything is ok. We would have no hesitation in recommending Shaun and his company for their products and service.

My existing riser-recliner chair was unsatisfactory in several ways: leg support too short, back support inadequate, seat too wide, etc. It therefore made sense to discuss having a tailor-mad chair with Channel Healthcare. They responded promptly, spent a lot of time assessing my needs and taking measurements. They were also very helpful in providing swatches for the covering (it wasn't easy to get these, apparently , but they made the effort on my behalf). The chair was manufactured, delivered and installed within a month, which amazed and delighted me. There was a glitch and the Channel rep came out immediately. It turned out the glitch was because I hadn't plugged in properly. The chair wasn't cheap but I have no quarrel with the price: the chair is excellent, and I give Channel Healthcare 10 out of 10 for professionalism and service.

I would highly recommend Channel Healthcare for someone in need of a custom fit riser recliner chair. The service received was excellent, I never felt under any pressure and I was offered a number of chair types to try at home. Shaun went above and beyond to ensure that the chair exactly met my requirements. I have Motor Neurone Disease and use Eye Gaze technology to communicate. Shaun made contact with the specialist speech and language centre to ensure that the chair would be compatible with my equipment and with the chair manufacturer about a custom bracket to hold it in the correct position.

"My little chair"

I'm afraid we don't Facebook, but I wanted to write a recommendation and a thank you for wonderful service and experience in building me a great chair.
First of all we couldn't find a chair for my size, the chair being a mean 16" across was not readily available even by HSL. Shaun and channel healthcare was recommended to me by said HSL, so we gave him a try.
Chairs we found out have changed considerably since my first chair, they now incorporate "tip in space", which reclines without stretching your back putting you in a type of bucket seat position, which is extremely comfortable. I have cp and a circulation problem with being chair bound as well as a curvature of the spine consequently most nights my legs hurt. Since my new chair this is a very rair ocurance. The tip in space raises my ankles above my core position giving so much relief that I now manage to sleep throughout the night and don't dread going to bed. The quality of the build is excellent but having a dog we have to cover it.
The arms are also a bit of a revelation (something else new to us) I so nearly went traditional but as you can see from the picture they can raise or lower (future proof) so with help I could transfer by sliding over.
Shaun didn't try to over sell or push for a bigger sale and though the build is bespoke it is worth every penny we paid.
