I have now had two deliveries from PlantSavers this summer; the first was one of their 'Shade Lovers' packs, 12 perfectly healthy specimens (and HUGE for 9cm plants!) for the heavy shaded end of my garden, which are now all planted and thriving well. At just £35 including delivery, 20L of good quality compost and one meal donated to the FareShare initiative, this represented ridiculously good value for money.

My second order was for two of their 'Seven Wonders of September' packs; 'Alexandria', which comprised of four fantastic ferns, and 'Colossus' which included four superb grasses ... they were all very healthy specimens (2L size this time) and genuinely amazing value at just £27 per pack, again including delivery and a FareShare donation.

Just to illustrate the tremendous value PlantSavers offer, had I ordered these particular ferns and grasses from Crocus (noting that 5 out of 8 are only 9cm sizes, not the 2L size) it would have cost me £92 vs £54 from PlantSavers!

I cannot recommend them enough!

"A sorry collection, at least I have some more compost"

Great idea, ordered bee keepers set hoping for a late summer bloom in the garden. Plants arrived a week and a half late just dumped on the doorstep - on inspection I realised why. A tray of dry, very sorry looking plants with broken stems and leaves, and when potted very delicately the leaves were also falling off. I am doubtful many will survive and one week on, some are giving up already. Got a £5 refund, but I wouldn't hand over money in a garden centre for the plants I received.

"Good value, sustainable, and give to charity"

The odd plant I got didn't look a hundred % but a very minor point as with the right care they thrive again.... I purchased a summer collection, an autumn collection, and a bee friendly collection - so you could say they were great, customer service good so far, variety very good, very happy with them and happy to recommend and will use again. They also give to charity and support sustainability by saving plants that would otherwise go to waste, extra points for that as well.

I ordered compost and the Bee Collection. Very happy with both. Plants were nice and healthy and ‘well on’.

"Anemone Serenade.. Not a July Jubilee, just dying..."

On 6 August I received the 'July Jubilee' £28 which should be a mix of three budding/flowering plants and one foliage/architectural plant, together with 20L of compost.
I received Anemone Serenade which had no buds and was not flowering. I mentioned it to the man who delivered the plants he assured me they would in time.
I have taken note to water the soil well as directed and left it in lots of sun however after about a week the leaves started dying and are continuing to do so at a very fast rate. I am trimming the dead leaves, but in just two weeks its really looking worse for wear. And am really disappointed as the whole point of purchasing was because I wanted flowers throughout the summer.
