Affordable prices? Not in my experience. £750 to replace a ball valve in a tank,which they had to go and buy charging for the time that took.

Terrible experience - found on google and gave them a call to ask for someone to pop round to quote for a power shower, or something to increase water pressure. Agreed £39 call out charge and guy came round the next day. Was late and turned up at wrong address at first, after having to clarify it 3 times on the phone the day before this was just a bad start but accidents happen.
The guy came in and took him no more than 5 minutes to inspect, unscrew the shower hose, remove a broken washer and screw hose back on. He then gave someone a call and we received an email with an invoice for £166. My partner queried this and the guy was quite adamant this is the cost and must be paid before he leaves.
He then called back the guy he had previously been on the phone to and he spoke with my partner (a disagreement was had about the justification/breakdown of the price)
I intervened at this point as the guy would not back down about leaving and I even threatened to call the police - at this point our 1 year old is also in the property and god forbid if it we’re just me and her or if this was an elderly person being targeted.
The guy on the phone asked ‘how much can you pay’ as if money were the issue when in actual fact it was the blatant daylight robbery they were trying to insist was fairly priced.
In the end the guy sent through another invoice for £46 and we paid him £50 just to leave.

I URGE EVERYONE DO NOT USE

Never had such con men quoted one price added a few hundred on top for admin charges, said won’t leave my house until I pay it guy on phone saying that’s the bill pay it, kept looking at my dogs like they were gonna take one if I didn’t pay so had no choice. Don’t go near them whatever you do.

Tradesman responded promptly (within 4 hours).
He spent a good hour adjusting 4 screws on two Quadrat shower doors.
He said all was now fine, collected payment (£300.00) and left.
The next morning, I tried the shower and it was as before?
Not Fixed.
