When I ran into problems with my computer, Tom attended within 24 working hours of my call. He was able to quickly identify & rectify the issue and, at the same time, answered various questions I had both patiently and in layman's terms that I could understand. I have recently had 2 computers repaired by Allens and they have done so at a fraction of the price I expected and included major upgrades.
I have absolutely no reservations in recommending them, in fact I drive 40 miles to drop them in.
They actually do things fast and answer the phone when you call.

"Great value laptop upgrade"

I’ve just had my old laptop upgraded by Allen Computer Services (with a better SSD) and I’m delighted with the results. I have all my precious files and data intact but with a much faster speed. Much less expense and hassle (all done by post) than buying a new PC as I was planning to. Good news for the planet too! A great value service which I would highly recommend. 👍

Avoid Allen like the proverbial plague. If you must buy from him, make sure you pay on Credit Card, because with his Bo-Jo disregard for the Sales of Goods Act, you will need to utilize a Section 75 Charge-Back.

"Computer Rescue!"

In short, the company rescued my computer - an old laptop with a drive completely full of valuable data and which I also relied on for email - which had been severely damaged.
They copied all the data onto a new 1TB hard-drive and fitted it into a new computer. Everything was saved and I'm now back in action.
