With their strict policy, shopping at Milton Jewellers meant my having to travel from France, to personally collect any item I wish to purchase. But the assistance and support from Milton Jewellers prior to each visit have made every journey enjoyable and worthwhile.

The manager at their Liverpool Store, Mr Nick Bailey, responds timely and professionally to every email enquiry I make prior to my visits, no matter how trivial or irrelevant.

On one occasion, when I was all booked to travel by train from London to Chester to pay for and collect a diamond ring, I was told at the 11th hour, that they could not resize the ring for me. On closer examination, the store discovered that it had already been resized once before.
At this stage, I have come to trust Mr Bailey sufficiently, so that Milton Jewellers could easily have sold me a lump of plastic and billed me for a 1 carat diamond ring. 😂
I was very touched by their honesty.

Recently I was at their Chester store to pay for and collect another 2 items. When my M&S Credit card was repeatedly declined, there was not the slightest awkwardness from the staff. Only concern and willingness to help.

As pubs and fish and chip shops are closing down in every town, let's hope this enchanting family run business continues to service those of us who want to own some of that bling, but cannot afford to do our everyday shopping at Cartier or Boodles.

NB: And if you are lucky enough to get a valuation for your item, it is a well structured forensic document detailing every aspect of your item. Not just 3 lines on an A4 sheet of paper.

"Bargain prices for tennis bracelets"

Popped into Milton’s jewellers in St John’s precinct today to look at some tennis bracelets. I was helped by Janine who showed me some tennis bracelets. I decided to have a lovely sparkling one after trying it on, I knew this one was for me. Thank you Janine, can’t resist coming back again for jewellery at bargain prices!

Went in today looking for a gold bangle, but couldn't find one that fitted. Jeanette was very helpful, and I actually found a bracelet that was suitable, very well priced. Jeanette was friendly and not pushy I didn’t feel rushed or under any pressure to buy anything. I have used Milton’s in the past, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

My wife eventually settled on one that needed some slight alteration. Rachel checked this could happen and rang us to confirm that it could. A really pleasant, very patient and helpful lady.
