"Fantastic Experience"

Perfect mix of academic advice, process for starting a medical career to hands on simulations in the hospital. Additionally, it was great to have so many activities outside of the classroom to allow UNC college life to be experienced.

Our son felt the experience at Outset was amazing. He has a much better sense of what he needs to do to pursue pre-med and what to expect in a medical career. The Outset team was very organized and incorporated a range of enjoyable activities outside of lectures. We highly recommend this camp to any student interested in medicine.

Our daughter had a wonderful time at Outset. It was just the right mix of lectures, hands-on training, and fun. She came back with so much knowledge of what is needed to get into pre-med/medical school and how she can prepare, as well as new ideas of areas she might want to specialize in one day. I think that Outset was an outstanding experience based upon the feedback we received from our daughter. She has been to many academic and athletic camps and she has noted that it has been the best one. The access to medical professional, the campus tours, and the professionalism from the counselors and camp staff was outstanding. Any parents who has a child who is interested in the medical profession should sign their child for this opportunity. My daughter enjoyed the experience and came back with a much better understanding and passion for a career in medicine. Thanks Outset for putting together a great camp!!!!

The Outset camp experience was phenomenal from start to finish! The application process and the communication that followed was astounding. My daughter learned so much and spoke very highly of the staff of Outset and her experience as a whole. She is definitely prepared and further motivated for upcoming undergrad and then medical school application processes. This was a great investment for her future and I HIGHLY recommend to any parents considering Outset!

As a physician, I found the medical cases they discussed fascinating and the hands-on experience in learning procedures was a major plus! Providing a comprehensive insight into medicine and the journey to get there while still in high school is priceless!

What an amazing medical program. My daughter loved the campus, her roommate, and all the kids were very nice and friendly. The student counselors were super nice, kind, and very friendly towards the her and her friends. The program itself was amazing and very informative. My daughter did amazing activities regarding medicine that she never thought she would do. Overall, this program really ensured in her love and desire to pursuit medicine as a career path.
