"Outset is an amazing program for any…"

Outset is an amazing program for any teen interested in a career in medicine. The entire week is focused on preparation: Whether it be from high school to college, college to med school, or med school to a career, it is covered in this one week experience. They provide excellent simulations and speakers that help students understand better what practicing medicine looks like. Besides that there are fun and engaging activities for after a long day of learning! This and so much more makes Outset a great option.

From a parent’s perspective, we thought it was great. Communication throughout the process with Lawson excellent. It was well organized and well staffed from the beginning of the application process to check-in and check-out. Our daughter said she had a great time. The councilors were great and really chill, the lessons were pretty in depth and useful yet easy to grasp. I made lots of friends and was taught a lot about what my fitter would look like if I went into a premed path.

"Counselors and Scheduling"

All the counselors were very interesting to talk to and happy to spend time with all of the attendees. The only reason I would take away a star was because I wish the counselors knew what was going to be covered in the different events from the beginning (although I did attend the first session).
