"NewFrog is Great Until There is a Problem Like Faulty or Damaged Product"
I bought over $1000 of product from NewFrog on-line paying via PayPal since July of 2013. Most of the items arrived, slowly, but with no problems, except for the watches. A couple of the watches are excellent and I have been wearing one for the last month with no problem. With some of my orders, every imaginable problem has been encountered with very poor responses from Mr. Chiang, purportedly the president or CEO of NewFrog. Watches have arrived with smashed crystals, loose parts, crowns that fall out, and a watch display/storage case was received with scratches on the "glass". Responses to my complaints have met with Smiley responses but no real fixes. They have made many offers of replacements if I send more money first. There has been one lost shipment with promises to re-ship and nothing received. Here are ten reasons not to buy, mostly watches, from these guys:
1) Poor quality control on some models.
2) Promises to make good are false promises.
3) Packaging of air mail shipments is flimsy and causes the products (watches) inside to damage each other.
4) They ask you to send more money before a replacement will be sent.
5) They offer refunds if you send the products back at a postage cost of more than the purchase price of the item itself.
6) Some of the instructions accompanying the products are written in such poor English it is reminiscent of "Goods Made in Occupied Japan" after the Second World War. I have problems with a WatchCam and a Pen Recorder which are impossible to diagnose.
7) They offer to pay for local repairs except the cost of repair could be 5 to 10 times the original cost of the faulty product.
8) They offer to send replacement parts except their own supplier does not even have the parts.
9) Orders supposedly shipped are never received, even after repeated promises to do so.
10) I feel as if I shook hands with these guys and they kept three of my fingers!
Perhaps you should wait ten or so years to see if they wake up like the Japanese did and figure out that customers have rights, which if you don't honour them, they will come up and bite you from behind.

"Will not Ship and once Paypal Disputed will ask you to withdrew the dispute to ship."
I place a relatively large order with this company and paid for it via PayPal. I never received an order confirmation except from PayPal. Later when I went to their site to check the order status, it says the order was "Not Paid". I sent them multiple emails to many different addresses and they either bounced back or never replied me back. I went ahead filed a dispute with PayPal and all of a sudden they replied and apologized and told me they are having computer problems and asked me to withdrew the PayPal Dispute and to trust them and that they are a large company. They said if I did not withdrew the dispute, they will not ship my order and cancel it and refund the money back. I informed themand told them that if I withdrew the dispute, I will never able to dispute this order again with PayPal and asked them to provide me with a valid tracking #. They never replied me back again or refunded me my money back. But, I received my money back from PayPal.

I ordered & paid for 2 items on September 8, 2013. I received an email stating that my items would be shipped within 48 hours, then nothing. I checked on line for tracking information, but the order history indicated not tracking information was available. After a couple of weeks, I requested an up date and someone named "Smiley" they responded that my items were shipped within 48 hours and I needed to waif 10 to 25 business days for delivery.
That response was on September 23. Since then, I have sent repeated follow up emails, and get the same story; items were shipped and I needed to wait. The offered to send replacements, but after 8 weeks, still waiting for the items.
So this past weekend I filed a dispute through PayPal for non-delivery of my items ordered. "Smiley" again responded stating that I needed to trust him, and that I should close my dispute through PayPal if I wanted to get a replacement shipment. This was 2 weeks after he had already stated that a replacement was shipped. So I should trust him after he has already lied to me? So I told him that I wouldn't close my claim until I received my order, because once the dispute is closed I would lose any recourse in getting my money back. I told him that trust was mutual and he needed to trust me that I would close my dispute once my order was delivered.
Guess what ? "Smiley" didn't respond.
I'm still waiting for PayPal to come to a resolution. Seller responded saying it was shipped via China Air but no tracking number, but since there is no way to track the order I suspect it is bogus, and just a stall tactic to delay PayPal from issuing my refund.
WARNING to any potential buyers:
If you purchase from these scumbags you will get ripped off!

Newfrog are scammers !!!!!!. Dont let them get your email adress, they will send you a lot of spam mail, like advertising. Its dissapointed that they also selling on ebay.

Stay away. ordered some good load of product from the website. When it arrives, there were item missing from the order. Contacted Newfrog.. Smiley replied. Then, indicated all order were correct. No more response from them.

I hope that I am an isolated incident, however that is something that I highly doubt. I am getting spammed to death by Newfrog and I have unsubscribed to their newsletters and advertisements but the volume of email has either stayed the same or on some occasions tripled. De to this I will NEVER purchase anything from them.
If NewFrog Reads this PLEASE LEAVE ME THE F*** ALONE. I want nothing to do with your products or your slimy company.

omg, i can not belive how this site can get away with the out right lies they put on there. It states that if u get your item delivered air mail and pay for a tracking number it will takr 7-15 days to arrive. What a load of crap, not only are the tracking numbers all invalid you dont get your package. When you try to contact them (via msg because thats the only way u can) u may get back a reply if u r lucky! Its normally something ridiculas, like with xmas and new year we holidays and postman busy and holidays too might take another 30 days, signed "smiley". wtf, pathetic
