From start to finish this team was amazing I have a lot of health issues and was terrified but was put at ease straight away and the care received was just outstanding. I’m 8 weeks post op and over 4 stone down. I wasn’t the easiest of patients and I was constantly messaging the surgeon but he always replied without any issues if you are thinking of going to have surgery u won’t be disappointed this dr has changed my life

"My surgery experience"

I had my surgery of the gastric sleeve on 7th march 2025 only just 5 days ago. I was up and walking about few hours after and hardly had any wind pain I’ve been extremely lucky! I’ve hardly took any painkillers and yesterday I didn’t have any! I was so nervous once I arrived at the hospital but Dr Süleyman, Olena, Arina were honestly amazing they talked me through everything made me feel so comfortable . Laughing and making me happy! I went with my sister she was my support and they were also to friendly and kind to her! I can not thank Dr Süleyman and his team any more from start to finish! Even now if I have question as a lot of information is given I message one of them get a reply so quickly! Thank you for everything Dr Süleyman and team!

I had my surgery in July and had a great experience with Dr. Süleyman Akıllı, I went with him after being recommended from 2 of my friends who couldn’t speak highly enough of him and they were right. I was very anxious and emotional when I arrived and he made me feel at ease. I have now lost 5 stone and feel the best I have felt in years. I have just come back from having a gastric sleeve surgery with Dr Sulleyman and I cannot thank him enough for the amazing care, the constant reassurance and encouragement and all the information given to me prior and after my surgery. Any questions I had he answered well, we also had a phone call to discuss my concerns before I went over. Whilst at the hospital I was looked after by him and his team and honestly I cannot find fault in anything? From start to finish the whole experience was amazing. Albeit a little bit painful. But I’m home and on the road to recovery, healing well, and looking forward to my new healthier life x

Had a gastric sleeve done by Dr. S and his team. Would 1000% recommended. Changed my life for the better. Lovely clean hospital, care by not only him but his team also is second to none. Explained everything in detail before hand and always at the other end of the phone whenever you need him. Lovely man who genuinely cares.

I highly recommend Dr. Sulleyman and Arina for the amazing care I received from them. I was impressed on how seamlessly the whole process went and to how wonderfully they treated me. The whole experience was amazing and efficient. In the USA we are not use to having all the same level of efficiency in getting all the work up and tests done on the same day. Dr. Sulleyman checked on me twice a day post surgery while I was in the hospital. He is a genuinely nice person and a talented surgeon.

"What a wonderful surgeon."

I had my surgery (gastric sleeve) almost two weeks ago. Dr Sulliman Akili is the best surgeon. I was overwhelmed on how amazing I was cared for, by him and the fabulous nurses and staff. The hospital was spotlessly clean, as was my room. I felt at ease from the moment I arrived until I flew home. The co-ordinator Arina was so great and nothing was too much to ask for. She is fabulous. I would advise anybody who is thinking about surgery to contact Dr Sulliman. You won't be disappointed. I had hardly any pain at all (which surprised me) and I'm back at work already! I can't thank this doctor enough. He's changed my life.

Dr Suleyman was recommended to me by a friend who has personally used him. Following many many hours of research I failed to find one bad review for this surgeon. I then met him face to face when he visited my home city. I knew following that meeting that I was going to be in good hands.
