Consistently excellent customer service, great therapy for various things and I personally feel so grateful to the reception team for updating me with email reminders a couple days before my appointment/s.

"What is a Charlaton"

I met with this man on 6th August 2013. We agreed a fee of £360 for an expert witness report.

I suffer with Mutism related to PTSD and OCD. I type at speed, when I am communicating what I need to say. Dr Humphries took no notes during the 50 minutes that I had the displeasure of his company. At the end of my meeting with Dr Humphries, he asked me for the written communication I had typed. Unfortunately, I then accidentally deleted my side of the communication and was unable to provide Dr Humphries with it. Subsequently, I received no expert witness report.

I find the above a rather questionable state of affairs, when the patient pays the full figure of £360 and is expected to do 50% of the work and get no refund.

There are reports here on Trustpilot that relate of Dr Humphries' amazing expertese in the world of psychiatry. Yet, when I asked Dr Humphries about Deep Brain Stimulation for the treatment of OCD, he had to look it up on the net. If a psychiatrist is unaware of a treatment for OCD, that by 2013 was fairly well known by professional psychiatrists, then I find it disconcerting that so many people here on Trustpilot are able to exude, as they do, about this man's capabilities.

Concerning the expert witness statement relating to an OCD diagnosis, developing from harassment by a local authority, Dr Humphries did not want to get involved and informed me that he would not comment. Presumably, because the man would have to assume a measure of responsibilty for his work further down the line in a Court of Law.

I wish I had seen Dr Stephen Humphries much, much sooner. the best decision I made was to go to him for assessment and treatment.

It usually takes me an incredibly long time to feel comfortable in a session, especially with a new doctor; however, with Dr Humphries I felt at ease from the get go. I really appreciate how easy it was to talk to Dr Humphries without ever feeling embarrassed, or like I was being judged. He was patient with me when I struggled to put things into words and he checked in with me to make sure that he correctly understood what I was saying/what I meant. I felt heard and not once did I feel frustrated (which so often happened in the past with other doctors).

It is evident that he is incredibly knowledgeable in his field and I really liked how well he was able to explain to me what was going on, why, how, and how we are going to deal with it.

I actually feel at ease and relieved that I finally have the support and help that I need.

I cannot speak more highly of Dr Humphries.

I was discriminated against due to my mental health and my complex symptoms. Don’t let the name and fancy location fool you. My first session was okay with dr buttan, we discussed my symptoms, life experiences and family history of mental health, I also got a diagnosis. I was very honest about my symptoms. The Second session was horrible, dr buttan was 10 minutes late, I didn’t get the full 30min that i paid for, plus someone else had to apologise on DR buttan Behalf for his lateness. I didn’t like the therapy session overall, so I decided to change to another therapist (dr alexis economou) I was very honest when I filled out my assessment form, I also paid for the Therapy. Surprisingly, a couple of days afterwards I receive your email saying that they cannot treat me due to the fact that my symptoms are too Complex and they will be discharging me from there serivces. From right from the beginning, they knew how complex my symptoms are. If you’re Someone with a Personality disorder or complex symptoms, avoid going here. They display it on their site that they work with people with personality disorders but I really don’t think they have the time, The experience and the level of knowledge. Don’t spend your money finding Treatment, here. find a facility that can treat your symptoms and respect you as a human being.
