"Thanks for your free services"
I have used the Oxgen Bank account for over 3 months. Much better than N26 or Revolut (not even close). I find myself using this card more than my other debit and credit cards. The card arrived quickly. Was very easy to setup direct deposit and send money to and from my other accounts. The cash back offers are great. Love the 7% back at Trader’s Joe’s. Switched my Uber and Lyft payments to this Oxygen account given the cash back. The APP updates you when a purchase is made and how much cash is available to be redeemed. Have it synced with my watch and see the Trader Joe’s cash back on my watch as I leave the store. Recently sent a check from the APP for a bill. Love not having to write checks nor find stamps. Used the virtual card feature as well. Looking forward to early pay. Great company! Great features!

"Fraudulent charges"
Fraudulent charges, customers service is a joke and did not help at all. Attempted to tell me I wouldn’t get a provisional credit for up to 20 business days, ended up having my attorney contact them with the actual law (which is they have up to, but no more than 10 business days), and only then did they release my funds.
Thank god I only use this account for random stuff on PayPal.. with my capital one account (main), the only 2 times I have had fraud the credit was in my account by the time I even got off the phone with them.
Do not bank with these p r i c k s they are criminal.

""Free" Business Banking (with Predatory Partnerships) is Worth Every Penny."
Oxygen is the ultimate inconvenience for business banking.
Like others, Oxygen sucked me in with the cash back offers on its business debit card. They also offer free services regardless of how many checks you write and/or your balance.
However... Oxygen is LOADED with hidden fees and their customer service department is a pathetic example of passing the buck until their customer exhausts themselves.
Need to deposit cash? No problem: go to any Green Dot affiliate and make a deposit... then pay a $5ish fee. That's not exactly free banking, is it?
The real problem comes from their check deposit service, Ingo Money. This company is a vulture when it comes to giving people access to their money.
If you want a "free" deposit, you better have enough money to get through the mandatory 10 business day hold on any check you deposit.
If you can't wait that long... get ready for a 5% charge on your deposit amount. Yeah... you lose 5% OF YOUR PRETAX income because Ingo Money is a glorified check cashing/payday loan company.
Furthermore, Oxygen never discloses any of this in their enrollment details because Ingo Money is a subcontractor. Their policies and charges are not Oxygen's policies and charges.
And when you set up a business account with Oxygen, how about that check cashing service Ingo offers? Well... Oxygen doesn't forward any documentation, so Ingo won't deposit checks made out to your business. Those checks have to be made out to YOU, PERSONALLY, raising a whole host of red flags for commingling and other auditable behavior.
To rectify the problem with Oxygen is a non-starter because nobody at their customer service department is actually a banker. It's a call center in India. All they do is say "sorry for the inconvenience" and wish you a good day. It's pathetic.
Rectifying the problem with Ingo Money requires a "24-48 BUSINESS HOUR" review period similar to the delay in setting up the Oxygen account.
Furthermore, Ingo Money took a week of daily customer service calls with hold times of an hour or more, to identify why deposits were being declined.
Then Ingo Money said they could probably waive the instant deposit fee for the check that has been held up (and continues to be held up).
Then Ingo Money said they can't waive the instant deposit fee.
So here's what "no cost" banking actually costs:
IN LOST INCOME:
- $5ish per cash deposit.
- 5% per check deposit.
- $450 in lost revenue potential (see below).
IN LOST TIME:
- 5 Business Days to establish the Oxygen account
- 5 Business Days to figure out why you can't deposit checks.
- 3-6 Business Days to resolve the problem Oxygen doesn't know it created by not submitting your business credentials to Ingo Money when establishing your business account.
- Who knows how many Business Days to be made aware of the fact that you can deposit your business checks?
- 10 Business Days to have access to business revenue, which is crippling for a start up or small business.
- 15+ Business Hours wasted on hold or with incompetent and/or contradictory customer service (at my minimum time charge of $30/hr, that's $450 of lost revenue potential).
TIME TO MAKE AN ACTUAL DEPOSIT FOR YOUR BUSINESS: 31 Business Days (6+ Calendar Weeks)... or you can pay fees (reasonable to exorbitant).
All in all, Oxygen is nothing more than a piece of doo doo with a thin veneer of gold leaf to make it look amazing. Their website and app are sleek. The packaging your new card comes in is fantastic. The promises they make, on the surface, look incredible.
However, that slick package doesn't come with a tracking number.
If you have any issues getting your account online and usable... figure it out on your own: Oxygen refuses to contact Ingo (their contractual subcontractor) on your behalf to resolve problems. This means YOU are your customer service department for Oxygen.
And that "free/no fee business checking account?" Most people and most businesses don't have enough cash flow to float income checks for 2 Business Weeks (or more, depending on whatever the Ingo 8 Ball predicts for whether or not your deposit will actually be approved), so you are realistically going to be hit with 5% charges on EVERY check deposit you REALLY need to make.
Oxygen's partnerships with Green Dot and Ingo Money represent the classic "Bait and Switch" scam: they promise amazing rewards and free services, but subcontract with predatory service providers. I can only imagine how much they're making on the backend.
Some may argue that Oxygen is, just like many of their business customers, "a start up." They can't afford a fancy free mobile check deposit system.
That's not true at all: Oxygen is a subsidiary of Bancorp Bank. They have the infrastructure to deliver on their promises.
Oxygen is a misleading (if not fraudulent) bank. Use at your own risk.

"WORST OF ALL BANKS"
I used Oxygen bill pay to send a check. Two weeks later I called the recepiant and was told the check was received and cashed. A week later I checked account for proof of payment and discovered that Oxygen only showed a check was mailed. I then called customer service (3 times) and was told they don't have any information as to cashed checks and cannot give me proof of payment. How can that be? A bank is supposed to provide proof of payment. Authorities must shut down Oxygen.

"Quite possibly the worst customer…"
Quite possibly the worst customer service experience ever. Refused for days to help me dispute a reoccurring charge from a cancelled service. Good luck getting a person. You wi only ever get a bot from Calcutta.

"I had a business account and a personal…"
I had a business account and a personal account and both were unexpectedly closed because they claimed I made 3rd party transfers. I used Google pay. If that is a violation of the rules then they are behind the times. Their idea was good. Their execution was terrible.

"Waste of Time"
Terrible bank, I attempted to open a business account and had no response for the application for 2 weeks. When I followed up, they responded within few hours with rejection, and that was the message they left: " We can't disclose exactly why your application does not meet the current criteria for opening an oxygen business account," So not only I lost 2 weeks to launch my business, they didn't give me the courtesy to explain why the account application was rejected. Take your business elsewhere.

"WORST BANK EVER!!!!"
WORST BANK EVER!!!!! My boyfriend transferred $200 of his stimulus check from his chime account to his oxygen and it not only took 2-3 weeks for it to hit his account, they then immediately closed his account for "third party transferring"?? My boyfriend then called customer service to see about getting his $200 transferred back to his chime, they told him that it would be transferred back within 30-days. After 30-days we still hadn't seen any money, so after another call to customer service they told him they would send him a check in the mail within 60-days, Low and behold... STILL NO MONEY!!! By this point were both pissed, so we called yet a third time, and now their telling us only a supervisor can release funds from a closed account... 3 and a half months after receiving his stimulus check and were still having to fight with them about getting OUR money back.. Ive now contacted a lawyer to sue Oxygen.

"Don’t Do it!"
I decided to use my business account through oxygen and it’s nothing but a headache! They don’t know the difference in minutes and days. If I pay extra to have my funds deposited in minutes and I call customer service and you say it will take days, why did I pay extra to have it deposited in minutes? Horrible customer service over the phone and even worse through email! I wouldn’t want my worst enemy banking with oxygen!
