Review as of November 2024:
My properties are both fully managed by Accomodation. It’s early days but there were a few hiccups getting there. I think the issue is too many people. Although at the beginning communication was brilliant. There is contradictory information from the franchise owner, then the property manger and emails from Howard.
I am new as a landlord of more than one property and I would prefer them to be with one agent. Accommodation could do this. Time will tell whether I stay with them and this review will be updated.
Review as of February 2025:
We agreed a percentage and when I received my statement and money they’d got it wrong. Not a massive issue but I had to wait to get my money for my mortgage. In February I received payment for one property but haven’t received anything for the other. My tenants paid 26th so this is an error on Accommodations side and I still have a mortgage to pay.
From day one there has been issues. Issues that I have had to pay for using my money. Taking the stress out has led to chasing them. Not what I want and it’s not confidence inspiring for when they do property checks and when the tenants leave.
I am expecting great things from now if they want to keep my business.

My rental came to the end of its tenancy, and after a poor service with a local team I came across Accommodation.co.uk and Caroline. In the space of 4 weeks I had a newly decorated and carpeted property with new tenants checked out and ready to move in. Little short of a miracle just before Christmas.

"Incompetent in pressing situations"
I was a tenant with Accomodation with Richard as our main contact for over a year and didnt have any issues whilst living there, however a physical altercation between me and my flatmate led to me having to move out abruptly. It's when dealing with the aftermath I noticed the agency's incompetency as they have completely let the deranged flatmate dictate the situation instead of asserting themselves as the authority in the situation.
I was promised my deposit back as soon as a new tenant moved in, however the agency messed up by letting the flatmate steal the deposit from the new tenant, and now telling me "there's nothing they can do" to retrieve the deposit.
It has now been 7 months since I left, there is a new tenant living in the flat and my deposit is nowhere to be seen. Not only have they failed to protect the new tenants deposit (which by law they have to), Accomodation is expecting me to wait until the contract ends and only then will they be able to release me and return my deposit - completely delusional to expect me to be responsible for the property despite me moving out almost a year prior. Not only is my deposit at risk but the new tenant will most likely lose their deposit as well.
I last spoke to them the other week and was told they were to get back to me within 24 hrs but I have had no communication from them. Unfortunately, after 7 months of being very patient but communication going nowhere, I have to turn to small claims court.
