"Terrible customer support"

Absolutely terrible experience with Textlocal. Their customer support is a joke. Very unhelpful and completely disinterested in solving problems. After multiple emails and calls, all I got were generic responses that did nothing to address my issue.

Despite being fully onboarded and ready to go, they abruptly changed their mind, offering no real explanation. It was incredibly frustrating. If you need a reliable service, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

"Wouldn’t recommend"

Wouldn’t recommend, have use for a couple month and on numerous occasions my marketing texts have took over 2 hours to send. Which when you’re marketing something to finish a sale at a certain time, isn’t good enough. Used the last of my credits today and has took over 2 hours to send another text. Moved provider.

"The worst onboarding experience ever"

If you can get the service working then I’m sure it’s ok, but my onboarding experience is the epitome of how not to treat customers; signed up, started testing and whilst it was slow, I did get the sms. Over the weekend they decided I’d breached their T&C’s by sending an email from my own email to their service to generate an sms to my own mobile.
No notification of any breach or suspension of my account. I called and was told to email, which I’ve done all this week and had nothing back.
Spent £30 to receive two test sms messages, and really poor service.
It’s a crowded market and there are others who do this much better so I would suggest finding another company.

"this company is a joke"

this company is a joke, i paid $80 uSD for 1 uk phone number that does NOT work, couldn't get text messages or send out, it only worked 1 time. when i reached out for cancellation and refund, they said accordioning terms and conditions, no refunds allowed. opened paypal dispute, run fraudsters!, you can get international numbers much cheaper from krispcall for $2 bucks a month compared to this company .

"Easy to use, but so slow it's unusable"

As another review stated, the service is very easy to use, but consistently slow. Support acknowled that it was slow, and offered no resolution. I wanted to use it for a personal project, but I've ended up scrapping using Textlocal and accepted the loss of money as I know I won't get a refund. I used an alternative service and messages were delivered instantly. 2-stars because ease of use is worth nothing if it takes up to an hour for a message to be delivered.
