Problem front door

WSW were able to respond incredibly quickly, easily located the issue and solved it quickly, professionally and at a fair and reasonable price.

Work is of a very high standard and work area was left clean and tidy.

A huge credit to the trade and highly recommended.

Had Wandsworth Sash Windows round to my place to swap out all 7 front windows for new timber double-glazed sashes, and honestly, I can’t believe the difference. The house looks so good now that I keep randomly stepping outside to admire the windows like some kind of proud parent.

The team were brilliant — proper friendly, turned up on time, and worked like absolute machines. The fitters were tidy, careful, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. It was almost hypnotic watching them work, though I had to stop lurking around because I was worried I looked weird.

The windows themselves are amazing. No more rattling when the wind blows, and the house already feels warmer (which I’m hoping means slightly less horrifying energy bills). It’s like living in a quieter, cosier, much fancier version of my own home.

Now the only downside is that my back windows look tragic in comparison. It’s like having a posh front room and a student flat out back. I guess it’s time to start saving up to get Wandsworth Sash Windows back to finish the job — unless I can convince the dog to start earning his keep.

Massive thanks to the whole team for their hard work and top-notch service. If you’re thinking about getting new windows, just do it. These guys are absolute legends. 5 stars, no question!

"Great job"

One triple front window installed at my property by Wandsworth Sash Windows. Very efficient work done with expertise. It was a long waiting time but that seems standard for the industry as I got 4 different quotes. So happy with how it all looks now the work has been done, I can't stop looking at the window. Wonderful!!!

"Outstanding Service and Top-Quality Work from WSW"

I recently had new windows installed by Wandsworth Sash Windows, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, their team was professional, efficient, and incredibly skilled. The fitters were punctual, and courteous, and took great care to ensure everything was installed to the highest standard even making sure my cat didnt escape at any point.

Not only do my new windows look fantastic, their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction truly set them apart. I highly recommend to anyone looking for high-quality windows and exceptional service, shout out to Matthew who helped me with many questions!

"Great customer service"

Windows arrived with noticeable scratch marks.
Contacted Nathan at the first instant who expressed installers would make good these flaws and re-manufacture if needed.
Installers eventually were able to fix these.

I requested a 2nd visit as there was a gap between the bead and box. This was scheduled with no quibble. Furthermore, took place within 3 days.

Lastly, there seemed to be a discrepancy with payment schedules between a document I was sent and the most up to date practice. However, Nathan and Matthew kindly went with the schedule I preferred.

Very happy with the manner in which problems were resolved. Windows also turned out splendidly, with the Victorian look I expected.

"Worst Experience "

Finally I have been able to asses my experience with Wandsworth Sash Windows which is as follows

The first issue was with the communication with instillation was very confusing. I chased for an update as I’d not heard from my contact and it had passed my estimated date, I was then informed that she had left but assured all was well

There then was a lot of back and fourth with if we should leave the shutters up or take them down, this was also the first time I was told that I would be providing the scaffolding?!! This had never been mentioned to me in the whole process and James and Nathan both knew this to be true with my reaction which was of total shock and anger!
This was never mentioned to me at any stage including when visited by Mark,but of course was hidden in very small print in the contract that I had signed. I do hold the company responsible though as on the recapping of the order this should have been flagged to me, I’ve also never heard of a window company that doesn’t provide the equipment needed to install the windows this shouldn’t be at the customers cost.
This was an additional cost to me of £900

Installation day one the scaffolding goes up in the neighbours garden this isn’t used until day 2 as the removal of the living room window is first

I understand there would be mess but the level of mess, dust,dirt and damage to walls around the flat were unacceptable
There was damage to the communal hall way,scuff marks to the walls even a hole in the wall on one of the levels, dirt on the carpets

In the flat it was like a bomb had gone off only a couple of dust sheets were used but not enough to protect the surrounding areas

Day two the kitchen window is removed only at the end if the day when the job was supposed to be completed were we told they would need to come back to finish the job as the windows had been delivered without the hinges and handles !

The job shouldn’t have been booked in if it couldn’t be completed due to missing parts this is so unprofessional and inconvenient

The fitters then came back the following day saying the missing parts were to be delivered on the day so they could complete the job, it got to lunch time when I got an email from the office saying the missing parts couldn’t be delivered until later that evening but the fitters weren’t able to stay and finish the job so the kitchen window was nailed shut with a wooden post

It wasn’t until Friday that the job was to be completed by a different fitter so this two day installation is now day 5 which has caused massive issues with the neighbours who have the scaffolding in their garden

On completion day the window frames are filled and sanded but to a very low standard, the living room window had been painted/freshened up as quoted in the contract but again to a very poor standard the paint was almost see through. There were numerous marks and scuffs on the brand new windows caused by the fitters which had had to be repainted

On completion day we couldn’t get any answer from James as to when the scaffolding would be taken away,he even gave us the number to arrange removal ourselves

Two if our neighbours complained about the mess which included glass and rubble on their roof and in their garden which wasn’t cleaned up by the fitters, one if the fitters was a young boy obviously training up so there’s no excuse for the mess to left and not cleaned up after themselves

The disappointment and stress caused by this company is disgusting, there’s a real lack of care and when questioned there seems to be a lot of blame thrown towards other people rather than the company taking responsibility for the errors

We also have damage to our very expensive shutters that was caused by the fiiters which James has told me to source repair for and they will cover which I’m in the process of doing

So on summery the windows are good but the whole experience was one which I would not repeat. There needs to be a level of compensation for the numerous errors and stress caused by this company as I’ve paid for a service that wasn’t received. When I spoke to the fitter he didn’t seem surprised by the errors and even comentated that James in the office was used to getting complaints! In fact he even enjoyed it ! So I’m guessing this complaint will come as no surprise

"Had a number of sash windows replaced…"

Had a number of sash windows replaced by WSW. They were not the cheapest quote and so I was expecting good quality for the money paid. I am pleased to report that they exceeded my expectations. Their service and product is great, these guys really know what they’re doing!
