Property People were fantastic when I lived at one of their properties. Whenever there was an issue, they were there straight away fixing it and I knew I could rely on them during the duration of my tenancy.

I don’t know where to start first. When me and my partner found a flat with this agency the price was £1000 per calendar month and we verbally (face to face) agreed on that price with Oliver. After few days before we started with the references he said that the price will change to £1030 per calendar month!!!??? His explanation was because there were two of us! Wow! Even before the viewing, I’ve told him that was me and my partner.
Recently, thanks god, we moved out. The property was cleaned professionally and left in perfect condition without any outstanding payments. The only thing was the mould on the wall where were the windows. Oliver decided to deduct from our deposit cos’ of that. 😡😡 How on earth the mould can be our fault. First, the windows were in bad condition. Second, there wasn’t any wall insulation and on top of that electrical heating. We tried everything to get rid of that mould with constantly opening the windows and used few chemicals but without success.
Once, when our kitchen sink was blocked I called them to send someone to fix that. Instead of sending someone, Oliver advised me to use a very toxic chemical called One Shot. I almost burned my face and hands.
I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU TO AVOID THIS AGENCY!

Everything started out fine, I couldn't fault them before we moved in.
After checking in, they provided us with an inventory that had not been updated since the year prior to our tenancy - they'd just changed the date on it.
We reported various maintenance problems - one was the bathroom window not locking, it took about a week to get this fixed, despite it being a ground floor flat. Another issue was my bedroom window, when their workmen visited the property they left the window in a worse state than when we moved in - leaving it wide open.
The gas main had not been connected to the earth, so was dangerous - and there were numerous other electrical issues in the flat too.
About a month after moving in, I had a change of circumstances meaning I needed to move out. They told me I would have to pay £764 to do so, and find a new tenant. The actual fee for this (in law) is £50. I later questioned them on this, asking for a table of fees, which I was told they are meant to display on their website - they would not, or were unable to provide this. The fee was then dropped.
At the end of the tenancy, the agent approached us to ask for a video of the condition of the property. A few days later, they approached us asking if we would like to use their £200 cleaning service at the end of the tenancy - we said no.
When the check out was completed, they told us there were no cleaning issues found - surely this would have been noticeable on the video we sent prior to check out?
They were unable to provide a check-out report, but thankfully refunded the full deposit - although this process took more than two weeks and involved various chasing emails.
Whilst their service was friendly, and Oliver always did his best, my experience dealing with this agent was nothing less than a nightmare and I'll be warning anyone moving to this area to avoid using them at all costs.

"Smooth move"
The whole process, from viewing to move-in, took just two weeks. The viewing was in line with the government guidelines for the pandemic.
Communication throughout the process was clear, concise and most importantly, quick. The welcome package was a nice surprise, and they answered all the additional questions I had, when the keys were handed. One minor negative was the experience with the referencing agency (rent4sure), their tenant portal was not good in keeping me apprised with the progress, but that's a review on them and not Property People.
Overall a great experience; smooth and stress-free move in. Thanks Oliver and team.

We needed to move as soon as possible, and Property People were very friendly and accommodating. They made sure we mere moved into our new place in just over two weeks! In particular the team member Oliver was very prompt with email responses and getting all of the forms and proceeds completed as soon as possible, despite the current pandemic situation. Overall, we are very impressed with the services recieved by Oliver and the team!
