"Pretty good service for a novice, lots of features."

I am not a huge web designer and admittedly i havent used many other hosting services but this was pretty easy to use. I have the lifetime deal and have been using the mailboxes which isn't the fastest delivery but it works, I also have set up a couple of test pages with almost no knowledge and it was pretty easy with their templates. I got stuck at first with selecting my plan and then going to the panel but it worked out. I like the feature set that is included with malware etc.

"Bought with no way to log in"

I bought it like normally works with hosting so I thought should be able to log in I tried the password they give would not work and it seems to have no record of the account they meant to had made existed for the details they claimed had for me so I contacted support got through to give who could not understand "I can't log in means" which blow made me laugh and surprised me so he asked me to explain this to him which I was blown away how someone can be so stupid .

He then asked me to provide images he had no sense to know at all when you buy hosting you should be able to log in if you can't log which should be the basic thing you cancel the hosting so after 2 pointless emails of them I got it refunded.

"Dubed by Starthosting./ no response from company"

This is to inform you that I have been duped by starthosting
I had taken a domain through starthosting by making the payment for amount demanded by starthosting
Every year starthosting used to send reminder on email for renewal and I renewed my domain by making the payment demanded by starthosting .
This year I got no remainder for domain renewal reminder therefore I tried visited the website for starthosting I found that they have closed the website, but still taking payments to renew domains.
I was advised to visit starthosting for existing members i moved to the the link and logged in where I found that my domain was expired in march and was asked to renew the domain for next 12 months by making a payment of INR 2000.00.
I made the payment for the amount demanded by starthosting for my renewal and the same was debited from my account. I took all screen shots while doing this therefore whenever you require this information I will make them available.
After making the payment also starthosting has not renewed my domain , my order id is # 1227205, I am trying to contact starthosting. through customer care area but they are not responding at all to my tickets created on their portal.
This is serious concern as my emails to support @ starthosting.com remains unattended . the company has very smartly removed all the customer care numbers and other contact information.
If this communication is not answered with 24 hours i would be left with no option other than suing the company in india as well as Netherlands and United States

"Starthosting ondersteunt "MijnWebsite" niet."

Bieden "MijnWebsite" aan om makkelijk een website te maken. Deze deugen echter niet. Menubalk is niet te besturen op een tablet. Echt support op "MijnWebsite" krijg je ook niet.

Sales geeft namelijk het volgende aan:

"Bepaalde thema\'s zijn op een manier opgebouwd. Ik begrijp dat dit thema niet helemaal naar wens werkt. Dit probleem is vermeld bij onze Deveoloper en die zullen dit in de backlog zetten.

Helaas zijn er meerde nieuwe wensen en bestaande bugs die uitgewerkt moeten worden. Enkele verzoeken worden met spoed opgepakt en andere meldingen worden met lagere prioriteit ogpepakt.

Wanneer het momenteel niet naar wens werkt adviseer ik u een ander thema te kiezen. Wij bieden verschillende thema\'s aan waarmee u aan de slag kan.

Helaas kunnen wij u niet tegemoet komen in kosten. U betaalt bij ons voor de domeinnamen en hosting en niet voor het gebruik van de software installatie. Wij werken hard aan het blijven ontwikkelen van het softwareprogramma, helaas kan het voorkomen dat er ergens een bug in zit, hoe vervelend het ook is."

Een echte oplossing wordt niet aangedragen.

Al 5 dagen geen toegang tot mijn email. Server 5 werkt niet naar behoren.
Erg vervelend!

"Enorm trage server en waardeloze helpdesk"

Sinds jaren heb ik een hosting account bij Starthosting, ervan uitgaand dat ik voor het interessante tarief ook niet veel mag verwachten. Toch zou het hosting pakket op zijn minst op een redelijk snelle server moeten staan maar helaas. Met de jaren werd mijn site steeds trager en trager in laadtijd en na het bellen met de helpdesk kreeg ik als antwoord dat het zou liggen aan de laadtijd van mijn website door teveel scripts e.d. terwijl er gewoon een trage server achter hing. Helaas wilde men geen actie ondernemen terwijl ik kon aantonen dat het aan de server zou liggen.

"Servers die wordpress niet aankunnen, maar naar je geld kun je fluiten"

Ik kan starthosting aan niemand aanraden. De servers zijn niet goed genoeg om de meest standaard wordpress website te laten draaien (het laden van een pagina duurt 10+ seconden), maar zelfs wanneer ze dit toegeven en aangeven dat een upgrade van je pakket niet zal helpen kun je naar je geld fluiten als je vervolgens overstapt. Echt schandalige service, nadat al toegegeven is dat het product ook belabberd is.

De enige stephanie in het bedrijf! Snel duidelijk probleemoplossend, goeie service ik ben starthosting!

Late reactie. Afschuiven van het probleem. Onvriendelijk. Ik zal mijn klanten zeker adviseren hier weg te blijven.
